   Had a totally different and exceptional experience at Mitre 10 Takanini. The service was outstanding — they held the last item in stock for me over the phone. The lady I spoke with (Debbie, I believe) was incredibly helpful, and Grant went above and beyond with his customer service. It was definitely worth driving all the way from Papatoetoe to Takanini. Thank you, team — I’ll happily come back again, even if it means driving a little further!

   I went to Bunnings as they are close to my house looking for sealed rivets. There you can not complain about the service because there is no service. People were not helpful at all. I then went to Mitre 10. I was greeted when I walked in. The first person I saw pointed me in the right direction. I got to the aisle and a gentlemen popped up out of no where assisting me in finding what I need. I then went to look for a rivet gun as the one I have is no good. Ryan assisted me and gave me details to make an informed decision. This guy went far above and beyond. The service at Takanini Mitre 10 is outstanding. I will not go anywhere else from now on. Thank you for making a Friday afternoon mission possible with smiles and excellent service!!!

   Trade counter - Poor service I was waiting in line behind a tradie who got served. Once he was finished the Indian lady CS walks away and then I approach the counter she just walks away and looks at me as well as the Chinese rep. Awkwardly I ask her do I serve myself or? And she replies ohhh are you needing something the Chinese rep just walks away not even phased Seems to be a thing now days customer service is optional especially when Mitre 10 use to have fantastic service hence why we use to enjoy coming - Even 5/11/25 around 1pm

   Very big huge store. I always enjoy going there. This time a special is going on and you have to spin a wheel and win a prize. No gimmicks. There is a great selection of almost everything related to household. Barbecue, tools, paint, building materials, gardening supplies and much more. You name it and they have it. Staff are super friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Huge parking lot available.

   Ill keep this brief... this shop oould be so much better. For prime example, the misinformation and miscommunication around a recent $2,400 purchase was just the limit. Friendly people sure, but get the basics right. Café needs a bit of a shake up too. Not impressed.

   I normally shop Bunnings for my business but I was pleased with the stock and range from M10. Further their displays seem to have an edge on Bunnings in some ways, if not in other ways. Their proactive staff were very helpful and in this regard, appreciate the assistance given. Will come through again soon, maybe even open a trade account.

   Exceptional service. I was greeted at the door by a lovely lady giving me 2 kids trolleys for my to little kids to push around, I asked her for a specific item and she was straight on her walkie talkie to the pool department guy who put us in the right direction. After the lady showed me where it all was off she went, I stood around not being able to find exactly what I was looking for keeping in mind that it is pool related and we'll out of season now, they guy that looks after that department came to my rescue, got a ladder and searched high and low looking for what I was after eventually finding what I was after. The best service I have received in a store like this ever, very much recommend this store and there awesome staff!

   As with all mitre 10s I've been to to this is also worth a visit. Extensive range and huge store. Lots of staff around when you need them and knowledgeable. Great prices and excellent service. Conveniently located. Heaps of parking available. And a bonus coffee shop inside which brews really excellent coffee.
