Bunnings Warehouse Manukau is an absolutely fantastic store and our go-to for anything related to home improvement. They truly have everything you need for any project, big or small, from gardening supplies to building materials and all the little bits in between. The sheer scale of the inventory means I never have to shop anywhere else. On top of the huge selection, the prices are consistently good, which is a huge plus when you're tackling multiple projects. Finally, the parking is so convenient. The large parking area makes it easy to find a spot and load up bulk items without any hassle. Highly recommended for all Manukau locals and anyone needing serious D.I.Y. supplies!
Bunnings Manukau is genuinely one of the best hardware stores around in terms of range and availability. The store is massive, well-organised, and has just about everything you could need—whether you’re doing a small home repair, a full renovation, or a trade-level job. The shelves are well-stocked, and the layout makes it easy to browse once you get familiar with it. You can spend hours here and still come out with new ideas for your next project. But as much as I love the store itself, the customer service is where it falls short—big time. It’s incredibly difficult to find staff on the floor when you need help. More often than not, they’re either walking away quickly or seem to vanish into thin air when you start heading toward them. It feels like you’re on a bit of a mission just to track someone down. And even when you do manage to get someone’s attention, the help you get is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a knowledgeable team member, but other times the answers are vague, rushed, or just plain unhelpful. It’s a shame because with a store this good, you’d expect the service to match. If Bunnings Manukau could sort out the staffing issue—either by having more people available or ensuring the ones on duty are more approachable and informed—it would easily be a five-star experience. For now, it’s a great place to shop if you already know what you’re looking for. If you need advice or assistance, prepare to be patient… and maybe bring a compass.
I drove in by car to the back area where you pick up gravel and wood . I drove in between 1:30-1:40pm today 22/08/23. I drove in a white Subaru car .. a young bloke / I’m assuming teenager was very polite. He was one of the workers here and was sorting out the concrete .. he lifted all the concrete packs into my boot . I appreciate his help . Hopefully you increase his pay aha & check cameras to thank this guy .Great young fella , great staff , very helpful & great personalities :)
Handy to where we stayed. Very friendly greeter at the door. Helpful and friendly staff on the returns counter. Heaps of empty hooks in the hardware section and the stick was a bit of a mess.
If only there were more staff around to help but its really hard to find aomeone and when u do u dont know if u should approach them with how they look. Its always good to have a smile when customers are walking towards you, no matter which aisle you work in. Always clean and everything is presentable.

Staff are nice and polite enough, but have no idea where anything is and very little interest in helping customers find things. Experience here was frustrating and a complete waste of my time being sent in circles by clueless staff. Recommend avoiding this Bunnings if you need help from staff as you just won’t get it here. Disappointing experience all round.
