    Really bad experience at Bunnings Takanini. Yesterday, When I went to the timber section, there was no staff around to help. I called One guy, he initially told me they couldn’t cut the sheet today and suggested to come back the next day. Then he pointed me to a lady who can help, I asked for a measuring tape, she just told me someone take it. She also didn't check the price for me, even though she had a scanner. At the checkout, the older staff were nice, but there was a young guy scanning receipts who completely ignored an elderly woman who couldn't walk properly when she dropped her things. I asked him to help, but he didn’t, so I had to pick up the item and give it back to the old lady. Even old lady was upset nd saying no one is gentlemen here. it just felt like nobody cared. The lack of service and care was really disappointing.

    Love shopping here . Theres an Indian man who is so lovely , he always makes us feel like v.i.p customers the way he remembers us. When we arrive The kids are always running off to check if he's working and then come running back with big smiles . It's those little things like making a shopping experience feel more personal that has customers returning . And the store layout is easy to deal with which I learnt recently after visiting Bunnings Manukau where their layout made no sense at all and i couldn't find a thing.

    Really angry today.. I needed help as the item was far up on the third shelf... No staff interested, just kept pointing me to someone else. Went to check out and asked if I could get someone with a ladder.. He radioed but of course nobody showed up to help me... I tried one more time and the staff member said "sorry I clocked off"... I would honestly loose my job on that kind of performance. I'll go to Mitre10 instead from now on.

    Wait times absolutely ridiculous, workers just standing around at the front door, joking when there are queues. I told one guy, there’s not many of yous, quite a wait. They need to either put more people on the registers. And to top it off trolleys blocking the exit. Had to tell a worker to move it herself as she wasn’t going to, just looked at it when i told her it needed to be moved, as there’s someone in the wheelchair coming. If this is how it’s gonna be at Christmas, then god save our souls. 1 out of 5 stars. 0.5 for health and safety, and 0.5 for wait times.

    It's not too bad. Sometimes stock is low or the app vs. where it is in store does not match. But pricing is fair and competitive. They seem to not have enough staff on checkout from time to time and close the self checkouts early. That is my biggest issue Seems to have new tech at the self checkouts and started to expand into cleaning and pet

    I have bought a lot of stuff from here over the last several years....$1000s of dollars worth and always had great service. On the only occasion I can think of where something went wrong with a big ticket item - an electrical drop-saw, which I was honest enough to readily admit from the start was basically my fault, (read the instructions properly!)... I was given a replacement as a gesture of goodwill....very much appreciated and somewhat astonished by, but earned by enduring cusom as gratitude. Basically very helpful, friendly, obliging staff as always. Great place and great staff in every sense.

    Just a parent trying to fix my leaking tap without it costing an arm and a leg. I called and got put through to plumbing. I'm not a plumber so don't know the "lingo" but was trying to ask for help with my leaking tap as there was no dismantling tips online for my type of tap. The guy didn't even try to understand what I was saying and just said no we don't do that. I figured out how to dismantle my tap. I came into the store with the tap pieces. No one was at the plumbing station or in the isles. I Asked two workers for help they called both times on the intercom no one came to help me both times. Waited for someone to come no one came so I decided to try Mitre 10. Maybe someone over there will want my service and money. Disappointed.

    We went to look at buy a letterbox. We were super impressed by the customer service. The store assistant helped us through getting all the bits and pieces we needed and gave us some really good advice and clear instructions on how to get our letter box installed.

    Not too old. Heaps of parking and well planned store. Shelves are always full and doesn't get busy most times. Staff are very friendly and efficient. I always find what I want. Excellent range. Getting out of the carpark can be a pain though. The main road is almost always bumper to bumper.
