   The McDonald's upstairs in the departures area before security (landside) is actually open 24 hours. Note menu items are more expensive and app deals doesn't work with the kiosks.

   Wait times are extremely long, never provide any napkins, waiting area is cluttered and small, self-ordering machine always out of printer paper, and seating is always packed and as well as being basic and uncomfortable. I enjoy the busy airport scene but this McDonald's is the worst and messiest. They do get my orders right though. One star sounds about right.

   Oh boy, this was the worst Cheeseburger I ever had. The cheese wasn't even melted and there weren't any pickles in it. Just eat somewhere else. I hope I don't get any disease.

   Nah rude staff. Got a milkshake, but then after payment got told that milkshake machine is off. Asked if they can turn it back on as a joke and they said no and gave me attitude. Chips were very cold. The dark skinned girl did NOT want to be working there. Ta

   This review is about the Mc Donald’s situated at international departure(pre security)-Honestly an embarrassment for the Mc Donald’s group to have such rude, abrupt and mannerless staff in the early hours of the morning at the port of entry and departure from NewZealand. Has to be the worst customer service of all time. Firstly no customer service at the counter, staff standing aimlessly facing their back towards customers telling them to go use kiosks when the kiosks directed us to pay at the counter. Finally when an order was placed, it took more than 10 minutes to get one chicken muffin, when we asked at the counter- they said they were waiting for chicken and the manager tells us “it’s too early in the morning”. Customers are paying for service and expect good customer service at any time of the day. Another manager comes to her defense- and tells us with her hand actions to “get your manners”. Are the staff trying to gang up on customers now?.If there is no service at the counter, how will people carrying cash pay for orders when they are forced to use kiosk- this has to be the worst accommodating maccas. Would highly recommend staff training and maybe staff rotation. If managers are handling customers this way, only wondering who would handle complaints. Just sad. I would have given no star only if it was possible for such bad customer service and spoiling my morning.

   As I stood in line, stomach growling loud My eyes fixed on the menu, so proud Of the feast I was about to devour I placed my order with utmost power But oh, the wait was long and slow My patience waning, my hunger aglow Minutes ticked by, yet still no food My mood turning sour, my attitude crude The smell of fries wafted in the air My mouth watering, unable to bear The anticipation and hunger so strong Why was my order taking so long? Finally, the tray was in my sight But alas, it was not quite right Missing items, cold and stale My fast food order, an epic fail So next time I crave that quick fix I'll remember this slow food mix And perhaps I'll try a different place To avoid another slow food race.

   Worst MC Donalds experience in my life. No ice in drinks, Salat ist more grey/brown than green, black dots on the fries... Total chaos behind the counter.

   It's decent fast food. Don't confuse this with the McDonald's post-security! This location is in the food court before you go through the international terminal. I ordered at the counter so cannot speak to the quality of the machines but they got our orders mostly correct (there was an extra patty on our spicy chicken sandwich but I am not complaining) Had the chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich; while not as good as my favorite Chick-fil-A grilled spicy deluxe it was a decent sandwich at a decent price. I got confused by the Google reviews but there are actually two McDonald's in this airport: one before and one after security.
