I love roast meals and I have been to many places recently. This roast shop is by far the best. The service, the taste, the size are all top notch. Trust me!
So we needed to get a roast for my mums birthday dinner yesterday as we all work so we couldn’t cook it ourselves, so we went to inquirer at kiwi roast if we could get a x1 whole roast, x3 roast chickens, x48 potatoes, x24 kumara, x24 pumpkins and gravy this is to cater for 16 adults and x2 kids. They were so awesome kiwi roast they gave us a discount free gravy’s and they cut up our chicken took out all the bones, gave us the left over frames too which had stuffing in them and they also cut up the pork and put it all in foil trays for us. The food was so delicious everyone really enjoyed their meals, no complaints from anyone and we had plenty of left overs. So we would like to say a big big THANK YOU to kiwi roast and the staff that prepared our delicious roast yous are the best…….. sorry we didn’t get any photos but trust me I would definitely recommend kiwi roast food is delicious.
Kiwi Roast in Avondale is top of the line, a cut above all other Auckland roast shops. Normally a big fan of their chicken and gravy roll but today opted for a bacon and egg toasted sandwich which was fantastic. Highly recommend to others James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales
The search for a good lamb roast continues. Lamb and the peas were over cooked. The roast potatoes were good. Crisp outside and fluffy inside. Ordered a small portion with gravy on the side.
Got a medium roast lamb meal for my husband. They have 3 size options available. The medium was approximately $20. The large was slightly higher. I didn’t mind the pricing :) The lady was kind at counter and didn’t wait long for our food. Only thing is it’s quite awkward and quiet inside the store. Maybe some music could help liven up the atmosphere for those that are eating in store.
The food was pretty damn good. I got the Sirloin beef roast. The gravy tastes very nice. Would recommend. The place is small inside so recommend takeaway
This is my regular roast dinner I go to, I don't bother going anywhere else. If I am hungry and don't know what to eat, I come here. All the roast meal meats are so beautiful, I only get lamb, pork or beef. It's never dry or fatty, just perfect. I usually ask for mash potatoes which is no extra. Sometimes the only thing is the kumara and potatoes if you get the roast potatoes. The gravy is home made and the crackling is off the pork, not this fried stuff. One business I would recommend 100% for the best roast meal, service and cleanliness.
Best roast shop in auckland in my opinion. Absolutely wonderful staff and ownership. Food sets the bar high that many can't come close to. I love coming here any chance I get if I'm in the area.
