Breakfast Mac muffins were so burnt it was dry and hard. Coffee very cold. I had to go ask what is the temperature for the coffees. Painting going on the same time above customers heads while dining in.
I love all the staff here — everyone is so friendly and cool! But the morning shift manager is quite arrogant and rude. I’m a regular customer who buys coffee here every single day, and her attitude really stands out in a negative way.
The worst flatwhite you will get in Auckland served by an angry looking staff. Terrible start of a day. :( Discusting to see an outside chair left so dirty. Please clean it, and this is not meeting the health and safety standards.
We visit this McDonald's a lot as it is close to home and over the past few months we have been experiencing food which is not to a very good standard. We are regularly getting fries which are old and stale, burgers which have old patties and are poorly put together and frozen cokes which only fill half the cup or have been premade as they are half melted. We used to love the soft serve from this restaurant however of late they have started to resemble kiddie cones.
The airport is always busy and this McDonald outlet cannot cater for the influx of customers who need fast food service. Our order was slow coming, we had to look for seats as all seats were occupied. Very noisy but I guess this is an airport for you. McDonald needs to improve their fast food service. Food is always tasty.
Probably the worst Mcdonald's in the country. From experience, the 'most likely' not to be able to serve thickshakes at or after 6pm. If you're ordering food, DON'T order a batista coffee! The staff don't even bother to walk 4m to put it with the rest of your order - even if you're eating in. Your coffee is left on a shelf at the left-hand end of the counter, waiting for you to magically find it. Even after being told about it, staff didn't bother to refill the checkout tape in one of the 3 ordering terminals, which led to mix-ups and delays. Sadly for the staff, there is no screen which advises of orders nearly ready or ready for collection. This is most unfortunate - as it forces staff members to shout out numbers across the dining zone (1 for atmosphere), but the continuous public notices from airlines routinely drowns out the shrill calls of numbers. Coffee was marginal.
Ordered a meal for two including adding sauce to the double quarter pounders paid the extra never got the sauce. Ordered the chocolate lava cake which was $6.50 was expecting a side of soft serve like it said and it to be hot or at least warm but alas neither and no soft serve. I work at the airport and really shouldn’t have to go back on my short break to fix it. I shouldn’t need to check like I do every other mcdz either. It’s on a screen, read the screen do the task it’s not rocket science and it’s not like it’s cheap like in the USA it was $60 for two people my takeaway at home does a better job for that price and service and nothing is ever missing that’s paid for.
Absolutely useless! Been here 3 times in 2 years and all 3 times I've had to wait either almost an hr or over an hr for my order. 3rd time (13/04/23) 7:15am we went through the drive through and waited over an hr and then got told to park up where we waited even more. Wife ended up going inside to get our coffees and the lady that was making the coffee had an attitude. Took my wife a lot of courage not to knock her out. Never going back here, and DO NOT RECOMMEND this maccas to anyone.
Extremely busy mcdonald's being so close to the airport, so takes a while to get your order. Staff were pleasant enough and the burgers ordered were fine. Coffee was really well made. The restaurant it's self was clean, overflowing rubbish bins. I'm not sure if they need more staff but the wait time was really long inside the restaurant, but it is what it is.
Decent waiting times, good quality food and the inside is generally tidy, has free refills and the toilets arent bad either. Good customer service at the counter but the drive thru operator could do with more enthusiasm. Great job!
