Flamingo Indian Cuisine is simply exceptional—it’s hands-down my fan-favourite takeaway spot! I absolutely cannot get enough of their superb tasting Lamb Kheema Naans, which are my number one weekly must-have. They are always perfectly stuffed, incredibly flavorful - with the right amount of spice, and just melt in your mouth. To complete the experience, the rich and tasty Mango Lassi and the savory Lamb Samosas complement the main meal beautifully. Beyond the amazing food, the true heart of this place is the team. The lovely cooks and staff are consistently warm and welcoming; their genuine friendliness is another big reason why my family and I choose Flamingo every single week. Highly, highly recommended for quality food and service! Wish I knew about this place earlier.
The best curry shop! My brother, a regular customer, recommended this place, so I decided to try it for dinner. The shop seems to be family-run, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I ordered their signature Flamingo Chicken Curry (medium spicy) with a butter naan, and it was absolutely delicious. As a curry lover, I can confidently say this curry is top-notch. The portions were generous as well. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a great takeaway curry near New Lynn, this spot is highly recommended!
Great customer service. I couldn't fault the food if I tried - samosas, mild & medium butter chicken, hot methi chicken, definitely hit the spot. Highly recommend it & would most likely return in the near future.
Ordered the other night through Uber eats and everything was great! Tried the Methi Chicken based on the last review haha. It was loaded with chicken! And delicious tender pieces. Not just a small amount of chicken like a lot of other places. Also ordered tandoori chicken was very tasty and well cooked not dry. Garlic cheese naan was yum just a bit more garlic would have made it better but had plenty cheese. The onion bhaji was my least favourite but still nice enough I just prefer when they are made into balls but these are single onion pieces battered. were nice and crunchy though. Overall would have to be one of the best if not the best Indian takeaway I have had and great value for money

Great local takeout. Friendly service and delicious food. I highly recommend it. If you ever dined at Chapati Indian Restaurants in Henderson a few years back before the ownership changed then you will be happy to know that this is the same chef as Chapati. Love this place.
This is a great new local. We tried the food on their opening night and got a range of vegetarian dishes. The food was delicious and spiced well, and there was plenty in the servings to feed our family. I’ll definitely be going back!
