The food is standard for its price, the pork hock was more bone and crisp than meat. It was such a simple dish even the noodle salad had no flavour, and didn’t go with the pork at all. My partner got food poisoning from his plate, the portion sizes don’t make sense for the price. & had to wait 15 minutes to order dessert so I left.

A spacious and cosy cafe located by the Devonport pier. Great food and coffee with excellent service. It also has a small takeaway bar for simple pastry and ice cream.
Absolutely loved my experience at Devon On The Wharf! This boutique Mediterranean spot is a hidden gem with an unbeatable atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had the perfect view of Auckland City and one of the most stunning sunsets I’ve ever seen. The vibe was relaxed but stylish, and the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a fantastic variety of drinks and food on offer; I went with an Asahi Super Dry, one of my favourites, and it hit the spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic, laid-back evening with great food, drinks, and vibes!
Popped in for a gin and tonic after a spot of shopping. I went with a gin I hadn't tried before that was apparently British. It was pretty good so would order it again. Will go back to try food as I'm often in Devonport these days. It was quite a rainy day the day I was here but I'm sure on a sunny day the view of the water is nice. It was relaxing hearing the waves splashing around underneath the restaurant whilst I journaled. Quite convenient to drop in before/after getting on/off the ferry.
Never disappoints with the level of service to the quality of the food & cocktails. Had there big breakfast & the eggs was cooked to my exact liking. Left satisfied & the view/ambiance is unmatched.
The restaurant is located right at the wharf where we met friends and all 6 of us had dinner. The food was delicious and well presented. We had the Spanish Octopus (real yummy), crab empanadas, Devonport Wharf Fish & Chips, Capricioza and Garlic Pizzas plus drinks. Recommended
Went there for the first time with my pals and the food was amazing!! I enjoyed the lamb so much. The spices, the meat, everything! You wouldn’t believe me if I said cranberry jam was perfect to be pizza topping!
