It’s Been a decade that I buy snacks from choice and love their samosa’s but recently my few take aways were not update to quality it’s seems like the quality is so down specially for samosa’s .its so sad to write that this place so old in papatoetoe but the quality with time is going down .
When ordering Amristari Kulcha you wont get the pictured item advertised outside the shop. You will get a bland aloo prantha made with maida, yogurt, small achar and a prepacked butter. You will not get any chole with your Amristari Kulcha. But staff have confirmed if you order two kulchas you will be given chole. And for free you also get false advertising and a condescending man at the counter.
The food was good like really good by hygiene no at all no gloves at all it’s like I’m having a meal in India (no hygiene) to experience I would rather prefer any other Indian restaurant than them
This is a good traditional Punjabi north Indian style restaurant serving good food. The taste and preparation is good and tasty. The menu is not large and the selection of dishes is limited to popular ones, which makes ordering easy. The wait times are not long and one can takeaway the food or have it in the restaurant itself. The staff are nice and welcoming. Quite a lot of products run out quickly in the day and may not be available for an evening visit, hence the 4 stars rating. Overall well recommended.
Food was not too bad,. couches, tables were dirty, we looked up on the cieling, lamps, it had dead flies on it and build up on walls etc. I was very hesitant to touch any surfaces due to cleanliness. No tissues available anywhere. Utensils that food was served were old and not very clean.
We come here for food and sweets. Their food is good but they should do something about dining in. The tables and couches are not clean. Even the table number is very dirty that you think before holding it in your hand. Highly recommend you guys to work on the cleanliness of the place.
The food is nice but the lady on the counter was so ignorant that she was not listening the customer just doing the way she likes. There was a customer before me they had mix sweets box they dont few pieces the lady still put it when asked to remove she said its done now. She could have easily remove those pieces from box as she is the one who does the mistake. When i went to the counter she was moving so fast without asking what we need giving us wrong things. I wanted to buy more things to take home but i got annoyed by seeing her rushing things to serve other people in the line. They need to improve the customer service.
Good quality 100% vegetarian food. Plenty of parking available as well. Lots of space inside the restaurant ideal for birthdays, engagement etc. The portion food served is sufficient compared to what other people are saying in their reviews. Toilet / rest room was clean too. Will visit again. Highly recommended.
