   Came in on Monday and had such great service. I was looking for new running shoes but wasn’t sure what I was after. I wish I got her name, but the Asian girl who helped me was super kind and patient , she brought out so many different options and even gave me her honest opinions, which I really appreciated since Im indecisive. Definitely recommend this store and will be coming back !

   Awesome staff, very friendly and helpful. Brought in a pair of Dr Martens for exchange (wrong size). Very pleasant and helpful with the return from an Asian female staff. There were multiple options offered and the most helpful option was given - delivery directly. Top customer service! Definitely will return again.

   The rudest customer service ever. The Asian female staff member did not offer any greeting such as “hello” upon my entering the store, nor did she say even a simple “thank you” after I had completed my purchase. She was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation of the rewards program, and the receipt she promised to send by email has never been delivered. Judging from other reviews, there appear to be multiple similar complaints regarding the same staff member, which raises serious concerns as to why she remains employed. I will certainly never shop here again; I would rather walk without any shoes than return to this establishment.

   Today, I visited the Platypus store at Westfield Newmarket, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience.While browsing shoes with my friends, one of the staff members began sweeping around us aggressively, brushing dust toward us in a way that felt very intentional. The sweeping continued until we eventually left the store — and only then did the staff member finally put the broom away. This behavior made us feel unwelcome and disrespected.Rather than politely asking us to leave (if there was a valid reason), the staff chose to create pressure through passive-aggressive behavior.We were not being disruptive or doing anything wrong — we were simply looking at the products like regular customers. I hope Platypus management will review this behavior and remind staff of the importance of basic customer service and respectful conduct. One staff member’s negative attitude can seriously damage the reputation of the entire store.

   Unfriendly bad service at this particular store. I was served by a young girl with terrible demeanor. Quite honestly acted like she had a chip on her shoulder, she really should not be working in customer service or retail. By the sounds of it I’m not the first person that has encountered this. When I asked her if my receipt would be emailed to me she rudely and abruptly replied: “It’s in your email”. Guess what? It has NOT been sent to my email!! I have never bothered writing a bad review like this but this one I cannot let slide. Do better!

   Went in to buy a pair of new balance, and the 3 guys at the till, just stared at me! no “hi give me a shout if you need anything” they were just on their phones! No customer service skills at all.
