We cycled from the city to San Heleus Bay on the weekend and found this restaurant when we got hungry. we were satisfied with the service, the fast food serving speed and the food itself. As a vegan, I seemed to have only one option: acai bowl, However, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was good, so I was still quite content. It would be even better if there were more vegan choices.

Had an amazing experience at St. Heliers Bay Bistro! The front beach view is absolutely stunning, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The vibes are super cool and relaxing. Special shoutout to Dayne for the very good service — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Food was great and the atmosphere top-notch. Highly recommended!

Had such a lovely time at St Heliers Bistro! The food and coffee were amazing, but what really made my visit special were the staff. Bellea and Maria were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!!

I had the best time at the bistro; such nice staff who made great recommendations. I had the calamari and burrata - so yum! Plus, a delicious flat white. Last time, the burger cured my hangover - I’ll definitely be back for the taste, the views and the vibes.

We ate here 4 years ago and the food and atmosphere was great. Today came back and brought our friends to have a nice breakfast in St Heliers. Disappointed ☹️ Bacon was tough, salty and particularly burned. Avocado was spoiled but the chef argued that the other half was eaten by other customers and they did not complain. Everything else was average. Their coffee was still good.

The price is decent. Lunch is good quality & quantity. The atmosphere was quite loud, which we didn't mind because we could hear ourselves talking anyway.

Always great. Can't beat the beach front location. The staff are just so friendly and accommodating. The bacon is soooo good also.

Awesome food, great service and great atmosphere. You can't ask for more. There is a reason the place is always busy. It is a great local and the views of the beach and Rangitoto are a treat. The music is normally good and cabinet pastries to die for. A+++

We booked a table through google however when we arrived they said there is no reservation made under our name saying they did not check today’s google reservation. Manager was pretty rude did bit even apologise when she messed up the reservation. Started with coffee which had to be sent back because they gave us wrong coffee.. food took 35 mins to be served , one dish came out first and got cold while we waiting for the other dish. Great location with beautiful view * It was booked under my partner's name Edit: We were happily surprised when the owners got in touch, had another lunch here and the service, food and hospitality was top notch. Breathtaking view & exceptional gnocchi. Would definitely visit again for sure
