   I recently returned from a trip to Europe, where I began experiencing fatigue and frequent urination. While I was there, I carried out some preliminary checks, and the results indicated that I had an infection. Because of this, I became concerned that the issue might be related to my prostate. As soon as I returned to New Zealand, I booked an appointment with my local GP clinic for proper assessment. During my consultation with Dr Ramesh, I explained my symptoms, the results I obtained in Europe showing an infection, and my concern that this could involve my prostate. I also clearly stated that I would prefer further examination or a referral to a specialist before beginning any long-term treatment. Despite this, and without conducting any additional tests or offering a specialist referral, Dr Ramesh proceeded to prescribe lifelong medication. When I questioned this and explained that I was not comfortable starting a lifetime treatment without proper investigation or specialist input, I was told that my 15-minute appointment time had ended and that I could either accept the prescription or book another 30-minute appointment. I found this approach dismissive and felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. As someone who runs a successful business and contributes significantly through taxes, I believe it is reasonable to expect thorough care, clear communication, and respect for my right to pursue proper medical evaluation. I would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion if they encounter a similar experience.

   Doctors, especially Luke, and nurses have patient’s interest at heart at all times! Always give good advice and effective management of symptoms. Timely referral to hospital/ specialist when my son presented with blood in stool. More recently, helped squeezed an appointment to see my son when he’s having very bad cough.
