   Had our Xmas lunch there. Food & service was excellent. Express lunch was great value. Dessert was another level, the Spiced Crème Brûlée was exceptional. Came with 2 spoons, could have shared, but didn't.

   This pub provides a good Sunday roast with one of the biggest Yorkshire Puddings I have ever seen. Such a big Yorkie needed a lot of gravy, and my one fault here was there was not enough. Plenty of meat and roast veggies, however the price was high for a pub meal, and this was reflected by the few customers. For two of us with a drink each the price was just under $100, which it's high for a pub lunch. By comparison we had a very similar Sunday Roast at Gastropub in Greenlane and paid just under $75 for two, and the food was equal quality. It was also fairly cold in this pub, a fire place was present but not lit, and could have added nicely to the ambience and warmth level. I hope this pub reflects and gets its pricing right to attract more customers, as it is a nice place with lovely staff and Ellerslie is a great suburb to explore and have a Sunday lunch at.

   We went to the Union Post for a very nice atmosphere and location. Me and my two boys all ordered the Sunday roast chicken, and the chicken was the most driest, I never knew you could make chicken so dry! And it had an awful taste like old overcooked chicken. Lucky for the Chinese takeaway next door as we were still hungry so grabbed a piece of snapper each. It turned into an incredibly expensive dinner! Usually I give 5 stars for this place but they had a shocker in the kitchen last night!

   Busy on a Friday, but lively and fun. Fantastic music, and atmosphere. Grabbed some truffle fries and shared the 'Prawnstar' pizza which is my favourite and definitely suggest you try this pizza too! Prawn, and Sriracha hot sauce-Yummy ❤️ These guys have an awesome 2for1 pizza night on Mondays, and a very fun quiz night on Tuesdays. Indoor and outdoor covered spaces provided.
