Great place with an awesome go around sushi. Food was good and I like the higher up seating. Everything was great. But my partner and I will never go here again. I cannot bring myself to rate it higher due to the price. Its not a great reflection of whats on offer. Mainly rice, on some thin slices of meat. Not much different to regular sushi. The prices add up quickly, and it would have been better just going to a regular sushi place because atleast you will get full on $8-15 vs taking $40 or more here.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and the food and service are usually great. However, on one occasion, I arrived about half an hour before closing. I saw that one side of the restaurant was still full, so I planned to grab a quick bite. I waited near the reception area for about 10 minutes. A waitress was wiping down a long bench, and we made eye contact, but she initially ignored me. When she finally came over, she asked if I was okay with only the food on the train, since the kitchen was closed. I said that would do. After that, she spoke with an attitude, reminding me they were closing soon. I felt unwelcome. If the kitchen was closing, she should have communicated clearly from the start instead of letting me wait alone. Once I accepted the limited food, there was no reason for her to make me feel rushed or uncomfortable. Clearer and friendly communication would make the experience more pleasant for all customers.

Even though it is a little expensive, I can't deny the food tasting very good. I would always order either the Vegetable Tempura Noodles [I think?] or the Pork Tonkotsu one [I really can't remember the exact names but something of the sort]. Come out fairly quick and quality has never changed since I started eating here. It's a great place to treat myself. Not to mention the sushis on the constantly moving conveyor belt are also made to great quality and taste. I especially love that one Aburi Prawn one? It just has such a nice taste to it. Great place awesome 10/10 yum yum delicious.

Service was 10/10, quick response, quick delivery off the menu, drinks. We sat in the booth, just walk in an pick a seating space. Absolute fun an exciting. Japanese alcohol was like a light larger. Spent $192, for 2 adults 1 child. Overall exciting fun experience, our 8 year old loved it,so did we.

One of the more interesting Sushi Trains in Auckland. They’ve got a wide variety of things to take off the train and you can order anything that’s not there direct to your table. The venue was kept very clean, although I was there at opening at 11.30am, so this is expected. The staff were never far if you needed to order off the menu. It can get a little pricey if you get too excited pulling things off the train onto your table. It’s a great experience.

I used to love this restaurant and would often go with my family, but over time, the prices have gone up and the quality has declined. I don't mind spending money on delicious food, but lately, I feel like I'm paying more than what the meal is worth. The quality of the salmon, in particular, has been inconsistent. The staff seems understaffed, and even requesting something as simple as water or green tea takes a long time. If things continue like this, I might not see a need to go there anymore. I'll give it one or two more tries before making a decision.

Best sushi go around/ train we've ever had!!! Very popular with a sign-in waiting list. Friendly staff and amazing food!!! So much fresh fish and different varieties of seafood as well as top quality meats. Booths for larger groups and barstools for direct access sitting. Highly recommend eating here for top quality food and service, but be prepared to wait at mealtimes as its popular!

Ok food. There is not much of sushi varieties. However, my two sons love it. They think it will be a treat to go there. Cost will be on the high end. However, the place is always busy. You can not reserve. You can put your name down with number of people and wait in the queue. So you either can come early or later time for lunch or dinner. Not good for big group of people.

It's a nice place to entertain kids while eating but its pricey. you can easily spend more than $100 but still feeling hungry afterwards. However the food is very tasty and the staff are very helpful. So I will recommend it to try if you've never been before for just the experience itself.
