   It looks a bit grungy in there but the food hasn't poisoned me yet and it's been a standout takeaway. A staple in our family. We go there about once a fortnight and it always surprises me that it's still good value, very fast and always delicious. We stick to the classic fish and chips and hotdogs mostly but the chineese is nice if you feel like ya standard for kiwis chineese take out.

   Great fish. Lovely chips. The hot dog didnt come on a stick like normal and also they didnt ask if i wanted sauce on it like normal. The seating is all ripped but im Overall quite happy with the place.

   Everything was soggy. The fish smelt like my grandfathers gumboots. Couldn’t finish it, dogs enjoyed it though!

   This was the first time we ordered from this place and unfortunately we spent almost $100 so it was quite a big order with a mix of fish and chips and Chinese food. Firstly we found a hair on one of the potato fritters, the chips were oily, all the food was over cooked. The Chinese food was terrible, the beef was pale and the vegetables were not in a good condition, a couple of mouth fulls tasted mouldy. The orange beef was chewy and a small portion with not much that could be eaten from it. Unfortunately a huge waste of money, we had to throw all the food away. We won’t be going there again.

   Chips are good and so is the chinese food. A decent sized portion for the prices they charge and plenty of fresh vegetables e.g brocolli, zuchinni compared to other takeaway places. I like the chicken chow mein. Pictured below Chicken with cashew nuts

   A typical suburb fish and chips shop with Chinese owners. Service good. Short waiting times but also can telephone order ahead. Shop is basic and no eat in facilities. In addition a wide range of Chinese takeaways on offer. Choice of fish type. Quality good. Shop next door owned by same person is a Chinese restaurant (same kitchen supplies restaurant and fish and chip shop) with BYO license Wide menu range and quality good. Prices very fair.
