I have come here multiple times, nothing ever disappoints! Staff are friendly, food is bold and delicious, and the overall atmosphere is cozy. However it can feel a bit cramped when there are lots of customers. Luckily there is a nice parking lot you can take a breather in if you need to. I recommend the Handi Goat Curry for people who like tender meat.
Sorry but we've just spent over $60 for 2 butter chickens, 1 rice and some naan, and the butter chickens had pretty much no chicken? When I paid the $60 something I expected there to be plenty of food, but it was all sauce. Price gouges eh. We came in close to closing but asked if they were ok to still serve us we were told that was all good. Should've just sent us the other way if you had no chicken prepped. Waste
The staff here are absolutely amazing. What a stunning location as well. The staff had such pride and care of themselves and their service. Amazing atmosphere. Felt more like having dinner with close friends and family. Could not recommend this place more highly. Poriruas best kept secret.
Jugnus’s Little India offers an authentic taste of India right on our doorstep. Their butter chicken is a sublime journey of flavors, and the street food options transport you straight to the bustling lanes of Delhi. For genuine Indian cuisine that tickles the taste buds, this is the place to be! Parking is easy to find and pay attention on the location, it is at the end of the motel’s driveway. Then the great smell will lead you to their door.
Best Indian restaurant in Porirua and definitely my favourite in the whole of greater Wellington. Beautiful food, the meat is melt in you mouth tender and everything tandoori is delicious.
I highly recommend their lamb madras, yellow lentil dhal, garlic butter naan & mango lassi. Absolutely beautiful!
Had a lovely experience tonight, the food was high quality and the restaurant staff are lovely. We had a total of 5 dining, each ordering a different curry, so we got to try a little of everything and it was all delicious, the aloo mattar and chicken saagwala being at the top. Can’t wait to head back and try out some of the other dishes. The parking is limited. There is a ramp for accessibility which was great for our Dad.
Our conversation home involved talking about why we haven't been before, who we will go back with and what we will have next? It was that good. We had a mixed platter, chole bhature, keema naan and bhuna chicken. On top of the food being lovely the restaurant and the setting are worth a trip too.
