This is slightly out of the way in the Strathmore Park are of the Miramar Peninsula but offers fantastic views over to the Pencarrow Peninsula
A spectacular place which offers a variety of walks - both bush and open - with beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend!!
Lovely easy walk on eastern side of Wellington. Harbour view, ferry crossing and city & airport view on the other side. Easy to moderate hike. Pet friendly.
Wonderful walk! On a sunny, calm day is lovely. However, car park has had many break ins recently so don’t leave any belongings in cars!
Nice walk that will take you about an hour one way. It gets bit exposed at places so wrap up if you go on a windy day Some nice views of the harbour. Old military bunkers at the end
Seemingly impossible stairs give way to eyewateringly beautiful water views. Allow a good hour 30 to do the Pass of Branda, Breaker Bay loop. Your day will be transformed. Every time I do this walk, I am reminded how lucky I am to live in Wellington.
Spectacular views of Wellington harbour entrance, the south coast and eastern suburbs.
