My daughter had a chocolate chip muffin with hot chocolate for breakfast around 10am last Thursday (4 Dec 2025) and after finishing it felt ill and had to run to the bathroom as she threw up twice!! She felt a bit dizzy too. What are you serving over there?!
Gentleman behind the counter lovely thought this would be the same for the rest of the experience. Good variety of food. However, my coffee was mediocre, and the toasted sandwich was tasteless. The mince pie my husband had he said tasted like a. Big Ben pie.
this place used to be great, but now by 10 am you only have a couple flavours of muffins out. I came in the following day also and came in later at 1200 pm and still only couple flavours out. very disapointing. you guys are going to have to up your game if you want to keep your customers.
Great coffee only a two star review because as a senior and use Muffin Break in Westcity always get a discount with the Gold Card it’s not busy no wonder the price of coffees now if they want seniors to spend money do the right thing the other Muffin Breaks do

I wish I could give a minus star. I ordered a coffee frappe and berry smoothie. The coffee frappe had only foam and the berry smoothie didn't taste like berries at all. The drinks were both very low quality, I don't think they knew how or what a frappe and smoothie is. I definitely do not recommend to anyone.
I normally buy muffins from this place for my kids because they love them, I have tasted them and they are very good as well. I asked for a jug of water for my kids, then had to ask for two glasses as well, as the girl did not think to give me glasses for water. She opened up the dishwasher and gave me the most disgusting dirty looking glasses for my kids. They look old not washed and there was no way I was going to let my kids drink out of them. I have noticed the glasses look really shitty, was thinking of donating glasses to them brand new in a box, as they clearly need them.
Ordered 3 muffins and 2 coffees to go, asked the shop assistant if she could please cut 2 of the muffins in half as we were eating on the go in the car, she said she would put a plastic knife in the bag for me to do it. I had to ask for a tray to carry the coffees, it was clear I had a toddler with me and I told her I had to cross a rd to get to my car. The coffees were burnt and tasted gross, was a waste of money. Also 1 of the muffins had so many nuts in it that it crumbled into small bits when I tried to cut it in half, another savoury 'spinach and feta' muffin had 1 tiny piece of feta in it. So almost $26 later only 1 muffin was worth paying for.
