   Excellent place to enjoy delicious Korean food in a weekday lunch environment. Their mandu, kimbap and spicy smoky chicken is incredible! Their mandu is soft and juicy, plenty of herby flavour and porky meat juice. The beef bulgogi kimbap is so good and tasty, I loved it warm! And the spicy smoky chicken was definitely one for the heat lovers. That was very good All their rice includes quinoa, which I enjoy to add a touch of uniqueness to all their dishes. Overall, love this place, sad that it is closing down for good soon, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

   Had a lovely experience at The Garden Cafe! The dumpling soup was absolutely comforting for a chilly morning. The broth was warm and soothing, and the dumplings were packed with well-seasoned, flavourful meat. Also, the pan-fried dumplings were crispy and golden brown. The service made the visit even better with such warm and friendly staffs. It’s a wonderful family-run business, so if you’re in the area, definitely stop by and show them some love and support. Highly recommended!

   I had a lunch bibimbap beef bowl takeaway and really enjoyed the meal. They even had a salad option instead of rice which was appreciated on a sunny day. However, the prices are quite high as 24.10 $ was rather expensive for the size of the salad.

   My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a lunch spot near my hotel on a Monday. Located in a corner of the food court, up the escalator next to Countdown, it immediately caught my eye. Seeing others confidently head there reassured me of my choice. A friendly staff member introduced us to the menu, and we opted for kimpa and a standard-size bibimbap. The bibimbap, though a short wait, was beautifully presented and delicious—wishing we had ordered the larger size. The kimpa was also excellent. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Wellington.

   Got the vege bibimbap today, and the staff were very friendly and asked a few questions to ensure they customised my order just right (e.g. egg ok, spice level, how I wanted the sauce packed). The food was ready very quickly and it was a very delicious and comforting meal. Will definitely come back to try more menu items :)

   Quite difficult to find real and fresh authentic Korean food in Wellington. The sundubu and bibimbap I had today was super delicious especially given that it was a super cold day, made it even more delicious. The owners were super lovely and welcoming, definitely got good vibes. Definitely will be back!

   It’s so hard to find good Korean food in town and these guys are nailing it! We had the bulgogi bibimbab, spicy tofu with pork soup and gimbap and it was all so delicious we ended up buying some more takeaways for later. Highly recommend!
