   Franklin Vets was recommended to us and I am so greatfull they were.... we required their expertise with our German Shepard he became ill and sadly went down hill fast, the team at the Vets both at the counter and the vet (Connor) who helped us through these tough times were exceptional they are animal people and understand not only how your pet is doing but also the owners. Again thank you so much to the team you made this as easy and as peaceful as it could have been and for that we will be for ever great full. Regards Roberts Family

   My daughter's dog had received 4 days of excellent service and support from manukau emergency and true vets ormiston. We sent all the medical documents through to franklin vets in advance and we're told to arrive just after 11:00, we arrived 11:05. Then after waiting 40 minutes and watching 2 dogs arrive and leave before us, i went to check on the delay, only to be told we arrived too early, our appointmentwas 11:20?! Regardless, just advise you are running late and apologize for the delay like a normal person. When the vet finally arrived he advised that they were out of stock of the broad spectrum antibiotics our dog has had for the last 4 days, when seeking clarity on this the vet seemed annoyed, we only wanted to understand the difference between the medications to make an informed choice. From here any questions we had seemed to annoy the vet more, he then advised that the treatment would cost $390. That's only $60 less than the emergency vets who showed more compassion, excellent care and had all the medications. The attitude of the receptionist and male vet was terrible, unnecessary comments made, and poor communication. The timing for our dogs medication was critical as it needed to be no later than 11:30ish. These vets would have known this had they read the documents we provided. 12:15 the vet was finally ready to start his assessment. Our poor dog is in pain, and we felt the best care would be back at the emergency vets. I'm not sure what it was you did not like about us, but we did not feel heard or supported by your teams approach nor could we trust your contradictory advice. In case your wondering, we have headed back to manukau emergency vets, please feel free to check as your lecturing us on ensuring we seek proper treatment for our dog was not needed, as we had! It was also why we didn't want you touching him or overcharging us for 60% of the care we have received everywhere else's! Also seeing a dog being euthanized outside in the carport was just disgusting! Those poor people being treated like that, no privacy or dignity fir them or their poor pet... I don't care how busy you are, your level of service is disgusting! Ira

   Very helpful team at reception, gave a calming spray to our cat. The vet was very thorough, asked a lot of questions to understand the issue. The consultation cost was ok, but the two drugs prescribed - WOW! Anyway, the cat is definitely more comfortable today. Thanks Franklin Vets.

   I am really amazed by the service and especially the caring for the animal or my pet, last last month my baby girl got taken by a lovely staff of Franklin Vet Pukekohe, even though it was heart broken for me to see my girl when I hear the phone call and picked her up the next day, cause I live at Papakura. I felt so special and the way they look after my baby even though she was deceased. I love the way she was kept and a lovely beautiful box and her details, even her paw prints cards it will always forever in our hearts but lovely memories of her. I want to say thank you so so so much for your lovely and noticeable service to everybody who walk in your place. Very professionals and such kind service and really love what you doing , especially the animals just like family members. I think I will actually recommend this one to anyone, I have been to others but this one is my favourite and the best. It's good to know they are not far away from me. Blessed day all and awesome awesome vet . Even the branch at Papakura, I love it and will definitely recommend you guys to other animal lovers.

   Great customer service. All the team members are very kind, welcoming and very friendly. We've had issues with James our cat for about a year and the Vets were very professional treating him. Unfortunately, we recently let James go to sleep which was the biggest heart break we've ever had. Even with the very sad experience, we will still choose Franklin Vets. The Veterinarian's were very patient and kind. Thank you again and we hope you will see us again for Ru (James older brother) for vaccinations etc :)
