Service is FAR better than the branch I usually go to. Wait time was kinda long but that was fine since I went during boxing day sales.
Bought a refurbished laptop and a new carry bag on Sunday evening after hours, and it was with me on Tuesday 30/12/25. Really efficient service just wish the website was clearer as I was hoping it had 8GB ram not 4, the listing info can be a bit confusing.
Came here for some Rj45 connectors and boots. They didn't have them and I would be waiting weeks for them to come in if I ordered today. The staff were helpful and directed me to Jaycar for these items
Was sent to this Albany store as Henderson didn’t have any of the particular item I wanted in store drove 30 minutes with a toddler got the store asked the front desk ( lady whom wasn’t very friendly) wearing the PB TECH navy blue jacket .. just pointed at the service counter and said I can’t help you , upon me waiting in the other line a lovely male worker asked if I needed help I showed him a photo and he took me directly to the place , when I went to pay an Asian couple asked for help and the same female receptionist/check out lady was happy to help them speaking in their tongue which made me feel like she didn’t feel like helping me but happy to help her own . Everyone should be treated equal . You wouldn’t feel happy if it was you in my position.
I’ve been shopping at PB Tech Albany for years, mainly for electronic appliances and other tech products. They consistently offer competitive prices compared to other leading retailers, which makes them my go-to store. The staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable, and they’re happy to help with any questions. Their website is also information-rich and very easy to navigate, making online browsing and purchasing simple. Highly recommend!
Rude Asia sales, but very helpful Europe sales, didn’t notice their name tag, one is a middle hight gentleman with little belly, another is a quite tall man with long hair around 190cm I guess. Don’t understand why Asia sales from this Asia owned shop are always rude. As an Asia myself feel shame for them, that’s how Asia’s stereotypes come from. Wake up and do your job.
Just bought a gaming PC from PB Tech, and am super happy with it. Runs so fast, the inside looks very cool, well worth the $3,700. PB Tech's website is very user friendly, shipping was cheap and packaged safely, would definitely recommend PB Tech above other PC companies to buy computers from :)
So my elderly friend wanted to buy a laptop and asked me to come along since they had a discount. The staff were friendly and helpful but we had to corral them like wild horses on the prairie. They spotted us coming and would vanish down another aisle. The one we got wasn't sure about the specs and recited everything from the product description. He looked and sounded like a kid on school break. Overall the discount was great and I even went back and bought a tv from them. But you need to do your research before you go, cause they aren't able to advise or consult with you.
I had the absolute best experience shopping for my first gaming PC. John was fantastic at helping me decide on which products to go for and which specs were better for what I was after. He is so knowledgeable and experienced that it made shopping for my gaming PC so so easy, and he was able to answer all of the numerous questions I had with such helpful advice. PB Tech Albany is a fantastic store! They offer a wide range of products at the best prices in town. The ample parking makes it easy to shop without any parking hassles. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile.
