The food is yummy I forgot to take photos of the food then I just realised need some memories to keep - the steak is nicely done and the fries my kids finished every piece ☺️ the kids love their waffles… the atmosphere is welcoming and the service… will definitely come back again

We were in a rush to get to a concert when we stopped in for a couple of drinks and appetizers. It was a struggle to get waited on and get anything with any sense of urgency. We had some appetizers and drinks that were good. The live music was a nice touch. We would probably give it another try when we weren't in such a rush.

We had a lovely time here and will come back again We loved coming here previously and was one of our favourite places due to specific items on the menu. We would usually order their lamb with mash and gravy or the risotto but unfortunately the menu has since changed. We tried their steak (I got rib eye and my partner got scotch) and a side of maccaroni and corn. Overall, we enjoyed the meal but had a few notes. The fries that came with the steakweres a bit oily (felt a bit sick after because of this, but the steak and mushroom sauce was delicious and so was the salad that came with it. We loved the buttery corn side, but the macaroni and cheese side was average. Would still recommend coming here, but they definitely need to bring back some of the classic items on the menu (duck risotto and lamb and mash) as there was a lot less choice.

There was only a group of people when we reached but we waited for very long for our food because "the medium steak will take longer". We asked for medium well eye fillet but it came out quite bloody and the supposed-to-be medium scotch fillet was almost well done. The presentation of the food needs to be improved. Anyway, the service was good and it was overall quite clean and cosy. And the drink menu was extensive.

I've been looking for a proper pub that does a proper roast dinner since coming to these fair shores, and have come up fairly short to date. However, I think that has now been rectified - the Bridgman delivers both the authentic feel of a boozer (but in a classy way) as well as a damn fine Sunday roast. Everything here was brilliant, from the service, to the drinks selection, and the food was the icing on the cake. Even the much maligned cheese option was done well here and didn't cost $20 for two small bits of cheese, three crackers and some sour grapes. Would highly recommend this place, if you live anywhere near it, or a train station, come here, as it's only a short walk from Kingsland station, allowing you to build up an appetite along the way.

Staffs and bartender were fantastic, very welcoming and looked after us very well. The homemade bread was really delicious . All other snacks and starters were just okay. Raw fish trevally was quite fishy , Tomato & Mozzarella were lacking in flavour. So please pass the $55 RUMP CAP , you won’t like it. Garlic prawn spaghetti was alright but very spicy , thanks god all of us can eat very spicy food normally, the spaghetti was not that bad compared with others. Desserts-We ordered the first three of the menu to share, donuts was alright and others were wasting money, brownie was super dry, pudding tasted so wired like sticky rice. In addition, the lights of the restaurant are too bright, so the atmosphere is not great. Overall, I might come back for after work drink and the bread but definitely will pass all the other foods.

Enjoyed our meal. Overall tasty food, chicken was not as crunchy as I’d like and the sirloin steak was quite a firm texture. Friendly service and good atmosphere and decor. Espresso martini was delicious!

Great spot on Dominion road, very nice atmosphere and lighting - the ambiance was on point. Great menu with a good drinks selection. I only ordered a tiramisu but it was huge! Enough for 5 people to enjoy, I did not get a chance to try the rest of the menu but I will be back! The staff were all super friendly and chatty, a lovely British lad and kiwi girl served us and made the experience that much friendlier. Would definitely recommend and I myself will try again!
