   Thank you to Gracie and the bartenders at Est. 1901 for hosting our party of 15 for after-dinner drinks on Saturday night. You were very friendly and hospitable, and the ambience of the bar was perfect. The cocktails and other drinks were all fantastic, and so were the cheeseboards. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and several of our group commented to me that they will surely be back. Thanks again, Alex

   Epic cocktail bar in Ponsonby !! Warm/welcoming staff, great/relaxed atmosphere with various good seating options and above all else great craft cocktails. The “Young Winston” and “Captain Dedwood” are must tries. 100% must visit in Ponsonby.

   I visited Est. 1901 over the weekend for their event in collaboration with Everyday Wine and The Strawberry Pig. Really loved meeting the owner Eve and lapping up the last of the Sunday afternoon sunshine in a relaxed and inviting environment. Will certainly be returning for quiet drinks with friends and for pats of Ginger the resident cat.

   Excellent wee bar in Ponsonby. The place is seeped in history and the decor fits without compromising on modern needs. Great selection of quality wines and perfectly chilled beer on tap. Had some of the 'tapas' and the chicken tikka is possibly the best around, either on it's own or in a slider (my recomendation). Staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely be back.
