   My kids absolutely love this place! We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and still can’t get enough. It’s become one of our weekly go-to spots. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the prices are way better than most sushi bento places in Auckland. Easily one of the best-value Japanese cuisine spots in the area. Super friendly and service too, honestly, couldn’t ask for more!

   Not the best sushi - but average for the ‘lunch stop in’ NZ style. They are open later than most so you can still get a good selection after 3pm. The sushi is very western style and not particularly tasty but it is affordable and the seating is nice. The selection is really good and the service is also good. It’s a decent spot to stop for a quick feed.

   I ordered the 'Salmon Teriyaki Bento' for $28.30, and given the price, I expected at least decent quality. The menu described it as including 'miso soup, salad, rice, deep-fried (dumpling, vegetables, and prawn), sushi, and sashimi.' However, as seen in the photo, there were just two tiny, paper-thin slivers of sashimi—maybe 1/2 teaspoon worth. Does that even count? It felt misleading. The 'teriyaki salmon' was bland and dry, with a meager amount of sauce that had no flavour. The tempura was soggy, and the kumara tempura was half raw. The dumplings were completely missing. An absolute rip-off. Avoid.

   Yummy yummy yummy sushi, this place always satisfies when I order from this restaurant. The fried chicken sushi pieces are the tastiest I’ve ever had. This place is going to make me very fat ahehehehehe.

   Wide range of delicious individual pick n mix sushi as well as bigger meals from menu that come fresh and fast. Restaurant is impeccably clean, owner is very nice and friendly, always greeting with a big smile, and it's awesome to have him and Sushi Zen in Lynfield. I slightly do wish it opens on Sundays but totally appreciate they deserve the rest
