   My wife and I walked off the street and were greeted with a friendly smile by your receptionist who had all the time to listen to our problem - my new hearing aid bought from Audika in Thames no longer working properly. She then called the clinician Clive to check out my aid. He came back in next to no time having fitted a new receiver with a standard power dome which replaced my custom made mould with a built-in receiver which he discovered was faulty and the cause of the problem. Clive then inserted the dome/aid... and the sound just about blew my mind!! The clarity, volume and natural sound compared with what they were was truly overwhelming!! How did you, Clive, get it so right first pop, fitting exactly the right sized dome which resulted in absolutely no feedback if it would have been too loose, and no pain if it would have been too tight?? On top of all this, being an experienced hearing aid wearer, I always felt a dome fitted deeper in my ear would produce a more "open" sound compared with the non-vented mould that was prescribed for me. I was seriously thinking that the initial confidence I had that the new Intent was misplaced, but you have more than restored that confidence, which makes me think many years back to when Oticon brought out their analogue "Multi-focus" which my audiologist at the time said probably wouldn't be suitable for my severe hearing loss. It changed my life, as I now know the Intent will do, in no small way thanks to your help Clive. Thank you! Harry (and from my wife Trudy who won't have to repeat herself over and over again!).

   I was concerned about my hearing and made a visit to Audika for a free hearing test. The result was I had some minor loss of clarity but otherwise they didn't recommend a hearing aid at this time. They didn't push sales of product even though they could have. I consider the Audika approach to be very professional and if in the future I need a recheck I will certainly consider Audika as a preferred provider.

   Booked a free hearing check and wax removal, technician complained the wax was watery and clogged her machine. She said there was an infection and that she could see skin flaps and to go see a doctor. She didn't explain what skin flaps were and was abrupt and obviously keen to finish the appointment. Would not recommend.

   Went for annual check up 4 years after purchase :-) and was pleasantly surprised to see that the same care and attention was afforded me as were my appointments for the original purchase of hearing aids from Clive and Helen. A great couple with a great business and respect for their customers. Highly recommend Wellington Hearing Care.

   Like the other reviews, i found the service provided by Helen and Clive was faultless. I had sought prior advice as to how to manage tinnitus but no one had laid it out as simply as Clive had. Price wise- very reasonable Would highly recommend as first stop if you have any hearing issues.

   I have been so pleased with Clive and Helen's hearing care. Wellington Hearing Care is truly a place where they care and treat you as person. I feel like we are friends! Clive has a wonderful sense of humour and is very professional. I had to change the kind of hearing aid after the first one didn't work for me. This was all done at NO extra cost. Helen is wonderful at changing appointments or fitting you in when you need an appointment. She also greets you as a friend when you come through the door. I could not be more pleased with my audiologist. Clive listens to every problem, no matter how unusual, and solves it. I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs to get hearing aids!
