Great 3 night stop in a two bed appartment. Great location and value for money. Washer and dryer in bathroom. Shame parking isn’t included. $45 24hrs. Walking distance to front and to the museum. WiFi was non existent Staff/front desk very friendly and helpful
I chose this place for its central location and was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. The staff were welcoming and accommodating and the room was very comfortable, with all the amenities for a long-term stay including a washing machine, dryer, oven, and mini dishwasher. I would definitely book this place again if I were to return to Auckland.
Had all we needed for a two night stay.. a bed and kitchen...central to markets on a saturday morning..5 minutes to a Woolworths. Room was a strange lay out..very small dinner area ..small verandah area only and the room shows a fair bit of wear and tear..the view would have been beautiful had there not been a new construction right in front blocking much of the harbour views... 5 min walk to the waterfront.and 5 walk to CBD .. overall Good
The junior suite we booked included a washing machine, dryer, iron, hairdryer, and all kitchen essentials. Although we stayed only one night, I felt that these features are important when booking, especially for longer stays. The hotel is old but clean, and its location is excellent.
All Staff had the WOW factor and did every possible thing to keep the stay comfortable (6 nights)! Excellent location with excellent view Bedroom are nice Bathroom is very small so is the kitchenette. Only if the kitchen and bathroom had the same Oaks brand standard as the Australian properties it would had been perfect!
DONT EVER BOOK HERE!!! At first I thought, wow what a lovely place. Then the fridge wasn’t working when it came to putting food away. Then the room sliding doors weren’t working. I let that slide and went on with my stay. Departure was good. But then a couple days later they took $150 out of account for cleaning fee!!! Now I know why they don’t provide cleaning products or a vacuum in the rooms!! All they did was vaccuum and take 3 bags down. It wasn’t just that though. I asked for my bond $75 back since there were no damages made by me. They told me they ain’t giving it back because they included it in the $150. They lied because if that’s the case they would’ve of only taken $50 out of my account, not an extra $150 on top of the bond $75. I am still fighting for my bond back and may possibly take them to Dispute Tribunal. This place is not worth the stay, there are much cheaper places with beautiful views than here.
In terms of the rooms and amenities, it's very catfish vibes compared to what you expect from photos. You can find better looking accommodation that's much cheaper however it is in a prime location close to restaurants, bars, shopping etc. The desk is managed 24/7 which I enjoyed as I was coming home at ungodly hours of the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Housekeeping was very disappointing walking into our room without letting themselves known, we as females felt very uncomfortable as it happened twice in one day and they were both males. April the duty manger was extremely rude when I forwarded my concerns and didn't take no responsibility just blamed us for having music on and didn't even apologize until I said something, very argumentative towards me when I was explaining what had happened, i was actually very concerned for us as women to stay another night not knowing if we would have some male walk into our room while we were sleeping. Very disappointing from all mangers involved with this incident, you would think as paying customers they would be more apologetic instead rude and inconsiderate, definitely will not be staying here again
Was smelly, floor under the carpet was uneven or broken in the room. When lifted the blanket found dark curly hairs and 2 weeks after checked out for one night they haven’t paid back the $70 bond they charged at our checked in. Called twice and still the money hasn’t been paid. Also toilets in the gym were dirty like #2 no clean for few days
The view from our harbour view room was spectacular. From the sunrises to the beautiful night city lights. It was absolutely amazing to simply look outside. The rooms were comfy and cosy. Great location and wonderful service by staff
