We had a good time here and would definitely recommend the desserts and beer paddle. As for my burger fans I’d rate the Wagyu cheeseburger with added bacon ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was yummy, but missing something and the bun disintegrated before I could finish the burger. Service was incredibly friendly and beer selection was great. However, we were really disappointed at the size and quality of the bowls of chips we received. At $11 each, we anticipated a little more than a small handful of frozen fries chucked on a desert plate. Very poor value.

Looking for a place to eat and Brew on Quay caught my eye as we passed on the bus. We walked back and were not disappointed. The staff was great and the food was tasty. I had the beef meat pie and it was wonderful. The meat was tender and very flavorful and the top crust was light and flaky. I paired that with a local stout and I was in heaven. Our meal and drinks were reasonably priced, but the staff made dining here very pleasant. They were patient in answering our questions and made us feel very welcomed. Seek out this place for a relaxing good time.

Amazing staff! Such great people. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and bringing the chill vibes. The range of drinks is outstanding- great pints and they even have our fav; Morning Cider. The building is beautiful - old world solid wood with plenty of intriguing curiosities gracing the walls. There are cozy spots hidden all round the venue so it can feel intimate even when crowded. Decent food - we weren’t big fans of the wings β€˜cause we like them classic-style with crispy skin, but we’re from London so we get picky when it comes to fried chicken, these are American Buffalo style as stated on the menu. This is, however, the best pub on the waterfront. We go here whenever we’re doing a shoot in town and the team are brilliant hosts. Thanks guys!

The amicable service, refreshing variety of alcoholic drinks, as well as the delicious food definitely put Brew on Quay on the map. The atmosphere and interior setting are a little disorganized but quite spacious. The pricing is fair too, which is why we will return to knock back the beers with the menu items we all got too full to try.

We came for a farewell party. We booked on of the rooms on the ground floor. They also do have a restaurant with seating on the other end of the building. The bar has a large selection of alcohol and they also have an interesting selection of food. It was a nice place to socialise but can get quite loud.

The Lamb shank was amazing! The softness and juiciness of the meat, woven with a rich flavor of lamb really hit home! We also got the Angus Scotch and a side of French fries, which were more than enough to make my friend and I full. The scotch was cooked perfectly to medium-rare as requested, and the parmesan topped on the French fries really added an extra layer of fancy to the side dish. Great vibes and lots of rustic, comfy decorations on the walls as well. Would recommend!

Great location and vibe. A large group of us went for dinner and they coped well. While the beer Iist is impressive and my IPA was tasty, I highly recommend the food. Everyone at our table was impressed and I found the steak and cheese pie of the day with parsley mash truely scrumptious. I would go back just for that, and another IPA of course.

I was looking for a nice place to have a few drinks on a Friday night in Auckland CBD and I hit gold. There was a live band on Friday evening and I enjoyed it so much just having a few drinks and listening to the music. The band was very good! The staff and I think the owner were very friendly and tried to help me choose some beers. Had a fun night, I would recommend!
