   Went to this restaurant using First Table; with this discount, it was worth it. We tried many plates and it was sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss. The lamb shoulder was VERY good. The market fish crudo was not good however. The wine Wet Jacket Putangi was also not very good. Hence, for full price, we would have been dissapointed, but with 50% discount it was a nice experience.

   Unsure if we came on an off night, I understand we all have off days and especially from working in hospo, I get it. The oysters were teeny tiny but tasty, the prawn and pāua dumplings were yummy and the hapuka tasted underseasoned. I thought the Hapuka was a small size for it being a large dish on their menu. The energy felt slightly chaotic with the service, I don’t know if the flow for service was a bit out of order than usual but our server wasn’t very attentive, didn’t come to check on us or top us up on water. All and all, I wasn’t blown away like the majority of the reviews. I hope to be back someday to have a better experience.

   Found this place on First Table and decided to give it a go. Oh my DAYS. It was sooooo yum! All of the food we had was phenomenal the flavours are divine. The staff are so attentive and Olive who was our waitress for the evening was great at reccomending the wines and talking is through our dishes. Impeccable service, our coats appeared for us as we were paying before we even though to ask and we honestly left feeling like we'd had a really memorable dining experience. Ten million stars. A lovely birthday treat.

   Have booked a table using first table. The table itself was on a smaller side but with a nice view to the street. Very attentive staff and beautiful atmosphere and nice art Delicious meals! Got lovely tuna and oyster mushrooms for starters and steak and cauliflower as main dishes (accomodating vegan options)!

   This is our 4th time coming here. Liberty is one of our favourite restaurants. It's really consistant every time we come and the customer service is great too. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and looked amazing!

   Visiting from the US we had read all the reviews and wanted to try. Warm and friendly greeting. Matt our server was outstanding. He gave us full details on all the offerings and the wine. We decided on the fish and shrimp noodles with chili sauce which were cooked perfectly and had a nice amount of heat. We opted for two mains, the lamb rump with whipped feta and the fish and soba noodles. The fish was butterfish and very good. Said thanks to the team in the kitchen which is open and they were very gracious. We ate at 6:30 which is early they they were full by the time we left. Nice pacing on the food. Recommended!

   Beautiful cozy interiors, delicious food with a wine list to match. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Liberty. Our standout dish was the ceviche but we also loved the asparagus. The burrata was quite sweet but still good nonetheless.

   Staff was very friendly. Service was good. We like the flavour of the food although unsure about some texture: the toasted black rice is quite hard in the octopus dish. Presentation can be better for some of the dish. But the food tastes great. My wine was full of sediment so that can be improved as well.
