Greeted by a lovely guy who was very friendly. Decided to sit outside despite the overcast weather instead of waiting for an inside table which turned out to be a good decision. The food & coffee was great. The staff were very helpful. Will definitely be back.
I love this place. Weβve been going here for years for the fabulous service and food. But since the change of ownership, the food is not quite as good. Today I had poached eggs with wilted spinach on sourdough. One egg was perfectly runny. The second a little over cooked. The spinach was just spinach. I miss the yummy creamed spinach of yore. And also, why no hollandaise? The addition of creamed spinach and hollandaise would have elevated the dish to something special. Coffee was great. Son had the brioche French toast. He was happy.
A really nice spot looking out over the sea. Great place to grab a coffee and sit and listen to the waves. The food is really good quality too, with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the roasted tomatoes or the grilled focaccia!
My partner and I really enjoyed this cute little restaurant! After walking the Red Rocks, we came here for brunch and enjoyed the view of the water! We have been here multiple times and does not disappoint! We had the Scrambled egg and toast, fresh frozen yogurt with berries and an espresso. The staff are always so friendly and accommodate you if you want to sit outside.
great food tasty and well presented. very busy and service extra quick added by tech ordering system and roving staff. It was a cold day but v warm inside. salmon dish was a winner
In my opinion this is the best cafe with the best view in town. The coffee is excellent and so is the food. There is a deck out the front which overlooks the beautiful and sometimes wild south coast of wellington. The crystal/gift shop shop out the back is a must visit too.
The menu is short and excellent. Very good coffee. Service is always good. Itβs a tight ship. Best of all, we can sit outside under shelter, which is rare on the south coast. There are blankets if you get cold.

A bit pricey for the portion sizes, but good-quality food! The red lentil soup and focaccia bread were top notch.
Great place to enjoy the coffee and relax on a wet day. Tasty meals My children enjoyed their french toast, coffee was on point and service was delightful. Highly recommend the pulled lamb and check out the glass display all made fresh.
