   I took my in-laws to an Indian restaurant for the first time on my wife's birthday. We waited an hour for our order, which felt too long. There were many customers waiting for their food as well, and everyone seemed bored, just watching each other. The restaurant had only one chef and two waiters, which is not enough staff for the number of customers. We felt sorry for the staff as they rushed around trying to take care of everyone. Additionally, the food portions were disappointing. We ordered four curries, and each curry only had four pieces of meat; the rest was just gravy. The biryani was also not good. Overall, we will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone.

   A really pleasant and tasty dining experience. It was the first time we ate here and the food was delicious and they really got the spice perfectly right for mild, medium and hot options. A great menu and a wide variety of drinks and options.

   I recently visited BIG TIKKA and absolutely loved the experience! The food was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the spices were well-balanced, and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and elegant, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff were polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout.

   Our dinner experience was fantastic, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with coloured cushions, hanging copper pots and a display of whole spices. The food was very tasty, and the naan bread is delicious with the curry. The staff are friendly and efficient. Thank you for a lovely night out!

   The location is at the main entrance to the Sunday market. The interior is spacious and comfortable, good for individual or group dining. The service is friendly and attentive. The $14.99 lunch special is tasty and good quality. Nan is made fresh in store. Recommended although the menu is limited, sauces are good but little meat.

   Can’t believe all the good reviews- totally agree with the below review that the curries taste like straight out of a “heat and eat” packet. We ordered 2 curries, medium and medium hot. My “medium” lamb curry tasted like tomato soup, there was no spice whatsoever and it was incredibly bland. The medium hot chicken curry had more flavour but was not medium hot and still was one of the worst curries I’ve had in ages and at $33 each I have no idea how they justify the price. The only redeeming part of the meal was the chilli cheese naan which was great. The service was average with the waitress reaching over me multiple times whilst I was eating. The “glass observation screen” into the kitchen as noted below is extremely dirty which does not create a nice ambience. There are a lot of lovely Indian restaurants in the area where you will pay half the price, so I definitely won’t be returning.

   Friendly, prompt, well timed service throughout our visit. Very comfy, dimly lit restaurant with a unique overhead installation and authentic ambient music. Glass observation panel to see kitchen action. Quick delivery of drinks and food. Fantastic presentation of the entree and exceptionally fresh main dishes. Well balanced flavours and overall delectable meal. Clean, well maintained facilities. Some visible kitchen storage from bathroom area. Plenty of nearby free or cheap parking facilities. Reasonable pricing for the area - approx. $50/person. Note: This review was part of a FirstTable promotion - some points may differ during peak times.

   The food here is great, always fresh and reminds me of the Indian restaurants in London. The menu is not large but a small menu done exceptionally well. The butter chicken sauce is out of this world tasty. The tandoori chicken perfectly cooked. I can't believe we never knew about Big Tikka before. We've been looking for top quality Indian and this has become our go-to Indian restaurant.

   Clean venue with fresh tasty food. We were pleasantly surprised at the food quality. The service was a bit slow but staff were friendly. Make sure you aren't starving when you go as meals take time to prepare, however, this results in some pretty fresh meals!
