   It feels as if it has been a long winter and I have felt over the past couple of weeks a bit flat. After lunching with my sister on the Shore I thought I would go into Ponsonby and check out Widdess. I think the owner was looking after the shop. He greeted me as I entered me and left me alone to check out the range. While standing next to the rack of sale items he suggested the skirt on the rack as it would look good with the boots I was wearing. It was not a colour nor an item of clothing I would have normally looked at. I tried it on and it looked great. I felt ‘met’ by this very cool talented man. He did not overwhelm me he just ‘noticed’ and suggested. I came away uplifted with a garment that is very different for me not the same old same. I love it.

   lovely staff, the brick and mortar store usually has items for sale not included on the website. stockist of dangerous goods jewellery. i always think their shop window contributes to ponsonby road in the best way :-)

   I've purchased from the online store. I'd like to see models wearing the garments again please. It's been a couple of years without seeing the clothing on people on your website. I'd also very much like to see a wider variety of differently shaped models wearing the garments. We are not all the same shape and many New Zealand designers are following a more inclusive (of all bod shapes) line of marketing.
