Fabulous! Current staff and management are awesome! Fatima’s favourite is very aptly named; I’ve come back again and again for it. Koftas (and the aioli mayo it comes with) are also soooooo yum. Absolutely love both. Great option for a take-away to the Takapuna beach, or even dine-in if it rains.
Fatimas Takapuna is amazing. Firstly, the staff are very nice, and secondly, the food is absolutely delicious. When you taste the pitas, the bread already tastes out of this world. The potato koftas are crunchy and full of deliciousness. I really recommend this place!
$23.90 with only 5 pieces of lamb. This is appalling! Usually Chawarma are good but now it seems like they're cutting cost with add more lettuce and less lamb!
Food was cold and bland. Portion was disappointingly small and the price is just ridiculous expensive for what you are getting. Food was poorly presented, given that it was squashed in bag with the salad, meat and sauce seeping out like a McDonald's cheese burger (which you get for $2) Overall, extremely disappointed and would not recommend.
Went here recently and my meal was chucked in a bag all squashed together, sauce coming out both ends and bun dry like a rock. The staff are very busy and hard working so will give them that. A friend recently went and raved about so I guess it depends what time and who’s on? I don’t think I’ll be back however.
Hummus Mezze, Chicken Pita and tabbouleh Mezze..flavoursome, fresh and healthy! New staff. Slow service. Slightly burnt pieces of chicken. Order was 30 minutes late. Other than that it was understandable.
We had the lamb salad, which was nice and fresh. Didn’t like the chicken chawarmas. The bun was too thick and couldn’t have a bite with out the stuffing falling out. Yogurt/sauce was way too tangy. The fried potatoes / tatter tots were good, and came with a nice dip.
