   I've been a regular at this place for awhile and yet, every visit feels special! The food is consistently great, customer service always stellar and ambience / setting strikes a good balance between stylish and laidback. Excellent location too right in the financial hub with lots of energy! My favourite mains are their lamb shoulder and venison - purely divine with the dressings. Broccolini dressed with roasted garlic on the side is amazing for just about any main! Don't miss the warm sticky toffee pudding dessert to finish it all off! They've got an extensive curated wine list with quite a few boutique labels that constantly gets refreshed - highly recommend getting their personal suggestions on pairings with food as the options can get overwhelming! Pricings are actually very reasonable for the dining quality offered. The staff are lovely - they remember you by name!

   Amazing service, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Not too loud, not too busy and beautiful interior and layout. Ordered the mince croquettes, wagyu burger and heirloom tomatoes. All delicious, all would get again. And they surprised us with a complimentary honeymoon dessert with their chocolate pastries! Thanks Lodge staff!

   Stopped yesterday for a Dirty Martini and really enjoyed the vibes here. Decided to get another drink. The other cocktails on the menu looked so good. Got their twist on french 75 which they put seasonal fruits in. The fruit used in my cocktail was Tamarillo, so yum. I also ordered the pull apart bread, was nice. Definitely keen to come back for dinner service one day. ❤️

   The atmosphere was wonderful, and from the starters to the desserts, the food was so unique and delicious. I felt truly happy to enjoy such an excellent dinner with amazing food and wine after such a long time. The staff were friendly, and they were well prepared to explain the wine and dishes. It’s definitely a restaurant I would love to return to for special celebrations. I also want to bring my daughters here for their birthdays. THANK YOU CHEF!

   I always love celebrating special occasions here in the Lodge, the food is always great and consistent, the service is impeccable and the ambience makes for a beautiful conversation. It's laid back but also refined. They strike the perfect balance between the food that they offer and the service they provide. I've recommended them to many friends, and I have always received compliments about my recommendation. My favourite is their steak night on Mondays. It's quieter than normal days, you get the best meal and experience. The staff are lovely and very thoughtful, they even gave us a handwritten card for our anniversary. It's the small gestures like that which makes a difference to the experience. I'd keep coming back for sure.

   The service and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic. For the food, I don't know if they deliberately cook like that or just taste bad. I can't taste any meat fibres from the meat ball, it so dry. The price is reasonable and I am really full, so if you want to give it a try, I will recommend you order individually, because that many courses in a set menu can be a suffering, theres not a big difference in price between the two anyways.

   Great atmosphere and service. Located in the heart of the Auckland city at Commercial Bay. Not worth for what they charge. Guess one is paying for sitting on sheep skin really. Although their service is great, they also need to serve tasty food. The beer was ok, no flavor at all and the beef burger was the worst . Mt husband is not obs person to complain but he couldn't even finish it. Not worth the price . Over priced place

   Outstanding restaurant near the waterfront . The food was superb , in fact so good we went two nights in a row. The Michelin star chef from NY has created some divine dishes to tempt the pallet. The bar person has created some one off cocktails . If you like sweet try ‘ Not your average Pav ‘. Or gin-gernut. The little prawn tartlets were stupendous I could have eaten them all night . Fish amazing and pork to die for . If you want something different for dessert try the Specaloos cake . It’s divine . Each dish has bursts of flavour and textures to tempt the tastebuds . The staff were excellent and attentive and Jay should get an award for friendliest ever in a restaurant . We’re ready for a third visit to try more when next in Auckland . .
