No hot water for showers in the morning basically ruined the experience. Beds somewhat comfortable but nothing special. For a hotel of the expense of rooms at this establishment I'd expect better.

Awake at 2.50am. Am on level 6 in a room facing into the atrium. The lights on level 7 are flashing on and off every 30 seconds. Theres a sulphury smell coming from the bathroom so i have the extractor running. I can hear someone snoring. Sky tv boxes dont work, freeview only and tvs arent cast friendly. George Clarkes Amazing Spaces was the best option. The balconies in the atrium are more sci-fi prison than morning coffee spot. Bed is comfortable, sheets are clean. Coffee is LaAfarre Primo. Reception staff are lovely and have milk if you run out.

We stayed here for three weeks and it met our needs well. Firstly I just want to give a mention to the two members of the team on the front desk Mikayla and the new member of staff. They were both friendly, welcoming and very attentive. They dealt with our requests, printed things out for us and saw to any issues we had. Honestly they were fantastic and a credit to the company and actually added to our stay. The rooms suited our needs well, nice bed, a tv, a sofa, air con, a hob and a separate bathroom. The only downsides with the room itself was the tv is next to the bed which makes it a little far to watch from the sofa and an awkward angle if watching from the bed but it’s still do able. There’s only two hobs, and so if you use a frying pan the other hob becomes unusable as the pan covers the second hob. A chopping board would also be nice. The cleaners were lovely and did take care of our room replenishing things, however for those who stay longer such as us, we would have liked to have the room cleaned a little deeper (such as hoover and bathroom wipe down) after each week or half way through our stay. The hotel itself was nice, very tidy in communal areas, however our hallway did smell a bit of people’s cooking. The hotel can be slightly noisy at weekends even though a 10pm noise rule is in place. Overall, the hotel is great for what it is, yes it’s not a five star hotel, but it’s pleasant, the staff are very friendly, it’s in a great location, and it’s very good value for money. The negatives I put didn’t overly affect our stay, it’s more for awareness.

We enjoyed our stay. Had a 1 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our needs. The gym and pool are a little walk away but were superb. The staff are kind and accommodating. We were given access to our room hours before the check in time and a staff member came to our room to show us where the heater was and set it up. I am very fussy and found the lounge a little tired but the facilities overall were of a good standard.

Stayed at the Quest Atrium for 5 nights. As I arrived after 8pm, I had to check in by phone. The agent over the phone was abrupt and not particularly friendly, but the process was simple enough. In person staff were far more friendly and happy to assist. Room was a little older than I expected but this wasn’t necessarily a problem. One of the lights in the room did not work, but this was the only real issue. There was a strong food odour throughout the hallways that occasionally reached the room. I was a little surprised by the use of a portable air conditioning unit. It was not overly strong. It was also disappointing that I was unable to adjust the temperature as the room did get a little stuffy at times. Location wise, this hotel isn’t ‘perfectly situated’ but is still within walking distance of most things. There are not many food outlets in close proximity.

I helped a man write his letter to his case manager at winz in the reception area while trying to get a refund for the 2 nights I booked. The room was not remotely what I expected when we booked it. My partner and baby got invited to a very loud party opposite our room and a man who said he worked at the hotel walked into the room on my partner while I was parking the car. I WOULD AVOID THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR SAFETY.

The Quest Atrium was a great place to stay. Centrally located. Short strolled via James Cook hotel elevator and you’re in the heart of Lambton Quay and shopping bonanza awaits. Place was well equipped with amenities. The washing machine and dryer combo was handy and saves washing when returning home. Staff was warm and polite. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend and return.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly. We had 2 single bedroom apartments for our family. Both room were clean and good size. The location just perfect, it’s in CBD and we can just walk everywhere. Thank you Quest Atrium!

Talk about false advertising! The photos for the room I booked were alot nicer than the actual room. We had a slide door that opened half way, had no balcony and a broken hand rail. Smelly hallways, probably due to MSD clients living there (which should also be stated) chipped paint, burnt kitchen bench, sticky instruction pamphlets and the pool isn't apart of the building so don't be fooled by that either. Won't be back, and don't recommend to anyone
