   The receptionist was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. She repeatedly referred to me as “Mum” and spoke to me in a condescending manner, as if I did not understand what was happening. She entered the wrong date and time into the system for my daughter’s appointment, then tried to blame me for her own typing mistake. Despite the appointment being booked in person three weeks earlier with the same receptionist, she told me I would need to find another clinic at my own expense. She was very unhelpful in trying to find an alternative appointment. Only after I asked to speak with a manager or requested an email address to formally express my concerns did she suddenly “find” an available appointment for my daughter, which she had previously claimed was impossible for at least a week. When I arrived for that appointment, she then told me it was scheduled for a different day. After I again asked for her supervisor’s contact details, she said a dentist was available to see my daughter at the originally booked time. She also refused to give me her name, and she was not wearing a name tag, making it impossible to identify her for a formal complaint. I would like to highlight that the dentist was very professional, kind, and approachable, and I have no complaints about the dental care itself. However, the receptionist’s behaviour was unacceptable. Because of this experience, we will not be returning. I also requested the manager’s email address to make a formal complaint, but I was given an incorrect website that does not open, leaving me unable to contact her superior. I sincerely hope this review is seen and appropriate action is taken.

   Called to enquire about an issue with my child's teeth. I was treated so kindly over the phone and given great advice. The dentist, Jan Steenkamp, even took the extra time to send me more information to better help my child. Thank you team for your wonderful patient and whanau care.

   I called the dental clinic first thing this morning as my 6 year old son was in a lot of pain last night with his molar. They saw me straight away as they had a cancellation. The woman on the phone was lovely to deal with and the dentist was so good with him. My son letting saying he wanted to go back he loved it so much.

   Tried to book an appointment for my son and they only have access to appointments for the next 2 weeks and they are all full. When asked if I could call back next week and get an appointment she said she didn't know. Not helpful at all!!!
