10/10 customer service, would recommend to anyone. Took my car in for a WOF and turned out it needed $3K+ work on it. The mechanic quoted second hand parts where possible and getting tyres from another company for cost efficiency which was a very honest approach. Following this I called to rebook the WOF and was booked in and given the WOF the following day. I then had further car issues that werenβt able to be fixed due to a bigger fault but the mechanic didnβt even charge to check and look at this with a recommendation. Great local mechanic and would definitely go to again in future.

Wow! Mike and team thanks for taking good care of my car Donna. She is doing so well and I highly recommend this place even if it is a small issue, always check with the staff and they will suggest options & sort it out for you. Very grateful for all your time and efforts everyone.

Absolutely disappointed with Motor Doctors Crofton Downs. I went for a WOF check and unfortunately my car did not Pass the WOF check, upon reviewing the reasons provided, I found them to be unnecessary and unjustified. Also, they handed me a quote of $1,998 which was unbelievable. To cross-check the same I took car to another WOF service and turns out there were hardly few things that needed fix and got it fixed and WOF Passed in $90. Although, I won't be coming again to Motor Doctors, I would recommend others to be alert and take second opinion before going further with any service.

Dishonest. 2 yrs ago I came here for a warrant, and my corolla failed on front pads and rotors, which was going to be $550. I opted to put the pads in myself and left the rotors cause they seemed fine to me. The car passed the re-check no worries, without having replaced the rotors... Next year the corolla failed on the exact same issue, but in the rear. Again, yet now suspicious, I opted to do the work myself and again left the rotors (pads looked ok too with plenty left on them), but this time measured rotor thickness. Original thickness for my corolla is 9mm, with recommended replacement thickness being 7.5mm. I measured 0.1mm of wear, IE they were still at 8.9mm, so no need to replace, also brakes felt and performed fine. Again on recheck the car was fine. This time I asked for justification of the $550 and told them I'd managed to do the job for around $80 and 20 mins of my time. They told me 'well you've saved yourself $400 then'. Recently a friend had the same thing, but actually paid for the likely unnecessary work to be done. Although this place is convenient for me, I won't be going back. Yesterday I got a warrant at VTNZ (2 yrs on since first 'failed rotors' at Motor Doctor) and the car passed fine.

I recently had an experience at this service center when I booked my Outlander for a Warrant of Fitness (WOF). I was initially told that I needed a suspension change, which would cost me a whopping $1800. However, I had my doubts about the recommendation as my car seemed to be running perfectly fine. To be sure, I decided to get a second opinion and took my car to VTNZ for the WOF inspection. To my relief, my vehicle passed without any issues, and I didn't require the expensive suspension replacement.

Brought my car in to diagnose an sound. Mike and the team did what they could, rotated tires and gave what wasn't good news but certainty of a way forward by waiting till the sound became a problem. They didn't charge me for this which was kind. Would recommend their service.

WORST EVER! I booked for WOF and they wanted to charge me $1600 while I was pretty sure my car was fine. I took my car to another mechanic and got my WOF with $0 extra charge!!! $1600 differernce! I wonder how could they quote for the replacement of the parts that work perfectly fine!

Mike was so understanding, helpful and patient with me. (I was very stressed about my poor car!) I was kept updated throughout, and price was very good! I will definitely be recommending their service. Thanks again so much for your help. Glad to be on the road again :)

I took my car in for a service which cost me $320, they said there was a lot wrong with it and it was gonna cost over $3000 to fix. I knew I needed brake pads and tires, and I wanted to be safe so I ordered in the rotors they said I needed but I took my car somewhere else to get them installed and have my car checked again as I had my car serviced around 7 months ago and they mentioned none of the issues these guys had and I wanted to be sure. They new guy I took it to said there was nothing wrong with the rotors and they didnβt need replacing (after Iβd already ordered and paid for the rotors motor doctors said I needed) and the car was otherwise in good condition. So after getting my car warranted it cost around $1000 which was going to cost $3000, I didnβt ask initially but would love to know where the $2000 in βorderingsβ came from. Quite disappointing as they were very friendly but felt like a bit of a scam if Iβm being honest
