   So…… it’s about time this story be told. I see myself as a pretty typical kiwi bloke. I have goals and dreams, a whole heap which are vehicle related!! I was lucky enough to purchase a couple of ‘dream vehicles’…. They did everything I asked of them, but in a pretty underwhelming fashion. I live on a farm, do a tonne of towing and travel distance daily. My Landy got all of these done, but you always felt it had more to offer. It turns out my phone was listening….. low and behold an add appeared to which I made an enquire. Long story short, I explained my situation to Bruno….. to which he said, “I’ve got you”. Within the week he had a prepared a new map specific to my needs, one quick meeting to transfer a file and done. The truck was an entirely new experience. The dream truck performed as it should!!! From then, I’ve had multiple vehicles tuned by Bruno. All of which had different configurations…… each time with specific needs. Bruno is very thorough and on more than one occasion has requested I change /service / monitor components so they enable the tune to function as it should. I have always trusted this advice and because of it, have had many years of trouble free motoring. He went above and beyond early doors, even organising a dyno for my 110 TD5 defender “The Rhino” to show exactly how the performance was enhanced. More recently I had an experience where my EGR gave up in my 110 Puma (Grey 110). The computer sensed this and put the engine into limp mode. I contacted Bruno as my mechanic said we could essentially have the EGR blanked by having the computer command the valve to stay closed. Bruno, true to form went out of his way during an incredibly busy time of year to re-tune the truck. A flying visit was all both parties could manage given it was new years eve!!!! But in that short time Bruno uploaded the new file, sent me off on a test drive, recognised the issue was still present, then through his experience suggested I unplugged the EGR disabling the computer’s sensor. Problem solved, I couldn’t believe the power that was set free!! New year’s road trip saved!! Mate, you continue to amaze me with your talents. The performance, fuel savings and all around drivability gained from your services are most appreciated. I look forward to future projects and to prospective clients I cannot recommend this team highly enough!! More than happy to chat through my experiences as I can assure you it is a game changer.    Stage One Performance Tune Done on my 2018 Holden Calais. Guys did a fantastic job. Very professional. Offering very good, honest advice. Grade A service. Car Driving experience transformed into a much smoother drive. Got more out of the tune than expected and im very happy with the results.    Dealing with the team at Xtremetuning has been the best service experience I have had in years! They even came out my site within half a day of my initial contact. Not just super friendly, but Great communication. Brno was great at explaining the process in layman's terms. Also he turned my E63 amg s into an even more stupidly powerful piece of ridiculous engineering. I can now get from 0 to the speed limit at the same speed the government can spend money.    From the start I was struck by the friendliness and professionalism of Andrew and the team. Excellent information around the process and expected results were provided over email which gave me a high level of confidence in the outcome. On the day of my tune I drove my Audi TT down to Xtremetuning and was happy to be offered a ride to work saving me an Uber fare. At the end of the day I picked up my car and the tune was well explained. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily so I didn't really get to test out the new power till a few days later, but when I did, I had a huge smile. I Highly recommend Xtremetuning.

   Brno is a top notch technician, and a real enthusiast. I tuned my 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R, with the intention of increasing its torque and improving its dynamic range. I engaged XTG after weeks of searching (like many other potential clients) and found XTG had the best reputation, honest reviews and conservative promises, i.e. they didn't BS their claims. Brno contacted me in January 2020, but it wasn't until June 2020 that I pulled the pin and got the tune. Between their website and Brno's feedback, I was able to prepare my car (basic servicing + new consumables) for the best results. The tune took three hours on the dot producing far more gains than I anticipated. The EZ36D in New Zealand-market Outbacks puts out 191kW and 350Nm. With a basic service, a K&N High Flow air filter and running 95 octane (by Brno's recommendations) I got 213kW and 380Nm. The car's throttle response is vastly improved with the ability to now crawl, rather than dumping the revs. Its dynamic range is vastly improved with torque pulling earlier and longer throughout the power band. Cornering and city driving is finally enjoyable, and straights are a total highlight. Fuel consumption has also improved, something I'm attributing to the modified air fuel ratio parameters and improved throttle response. For a decade-old naturally aspirated vehicle, these are massive gains. While I've *only* gained approx. 30kW and 30Nm at the crank, I've gained a whole driving experience. I can't recommend these guys enough. Speaking from experience, their customer service is miles beyond the competition. They don't oversell their services, they give conservative estimates and treat all cars the same. Thanks to Brno and XTG.
