I work locally and have been going to Kofte Kofte weekly for the last four years. I still look forward to my chicken salad each week. Tasty, healthy and consistent! It never disappoints!
This was, quite simply, the worst food delivery experience I have ever had. If you rely on delivery for convenience or necessity, avoid Kofta Kofta, as they delivered poor quality food that felt like a complete waste of money and time. Key issues with the order: Frozen Food: The main dish was cold, and shockingly, the "meat salad" was partially frozen. This is unacceptable for delivered food and raises serious quality concerns. "Lamb on Rice" Scam: The portion size for the lamb was a joke. It was scarce and minimal, making the dish feel like a deliberate scam for the price point. Instructions Ignored: None of the specific preparation instructions were followed, showing zero attention to detail or care for the customer request. Pathetic Packaging: The wrapping was extremely poor and unprofessional, which contributed to the terrible food temperature. The food quality was uniformly bad. It felt like they took the convenience of delivery customers completely for granted. I highly recommend against ordering from here. You deserve better than frozen, inedible food.
Exceptional kebabs and always good service. Good meat to salad ratio
I ordered their chicken on rice meal and as i was waiting i noticed their salad station infested with flies! The server also knew this but she didnt do much about shoo-ing them away. I was grateful my meal was being cooked fresh and not sitting around. The service wasnt great, she looked like she didnt want to be there. The whole vibe of the place was off. This seems to be the case of most(not all) kebab places.. which is a shame because i quite enjoy kebab shops. Theres only a few in auckland I can name that are great! The food was average. So expensive for what you get.
This is not a good kabab! It doesn’t even taste like a normal kebab. Raw vegetables, cold, bland and lacking any hint of flavor in the meat. Please heat it properly before serving, as it was hardly warm. The portion size is SMALL for the price. Compared to Arum Takeaways up the road, it’s probably half the size for the same price. Crazy. Only came here for convenience but certainly won’t make that mistake again.
I have eaten kebab in many places in Nz, but I have never seen a place with such a wide variety of salads. I tried falafel and chicken beef, it was really good. Aioli hams sauces were made by themselves. They were very tasty sauces. I advise. There are so many alternatives and the prices are in the Nz average. I will go again.
Your team need to learn how kebabs are made, how they're wrapped and how to keep food warm before it's collected. Chips were completely cold so inedible. Kebabs were also cold and should have been wrapped in tinfoil and pressed to keep warm. No idea how long food was just sitting on the counter rather than in a warmer. Need to use proper lettuce not salad leaves from a bag, or not at all. In addition everything was overpriced. 2 stars not one as the staff had positive attitudes. Happy to speak to the owner as this kind of service at this price is not ok.
No atmosphere, the people running it dont look interested. Their mixed kebab they just cooked hamburger patties and broke it up. Won't be going back
I don't understand why people are giving this lot 5 stars, I just ordered $40 worth of food from these guys via Uber Eats and have just finished complaining to Uber Eats where I insisted a refund. The drink was wrong, the fries were stone cold and the Meat on Rice was compacted into a tiny cardboard box as per the image below, with NO salad which i had opted to have with. I would suggest you consider another kebab joint because this one is not worth your money!
