“My son is flourishing in the beautiful, warm and caring environment created by the most amazing, thoughtful and experienced teachers. Brooklyn Kindy is truly part of the community and my 7 year old daughter loves going back to visit.”
“This is an amazing centre! Highly recommend! So much care and patience. Like all other centres that are busy and filled with tamariki, it was such a great and smooth transition for my God daughter. Thanks team! God Bless x”
“Both my tamariki attend NELC and love it. The kaiako are caring and supportive — they know the kids well and create a fun, safe space to learn and grow. NELC is community-run, which means whānau have a real voice in how things work. It creates a strong sense of belonging and connection — we’re not just part of a centre, we’re part of a community. We get regular updates and photos, and it’s great seeing our tamariki thrive. Big thanks to the NELC whānau!”
“We have had our daughter at Little School Nursery for four months. We are incredibly grateful for the teachers who are professional, nurturing and dedicated to providing the best educational experience in a warm, welcoming, well equipped environment.”
“Our family loves Wilton Playcentre! The kids have such a great sense of belonging. As a parent, I get massive emotional support and have made friends for life. I work 4 days a week and really look forward to my playcentre day where we get to hang out with our friends and do cool stuff.”
“Incredible early childhood centre. Teachers are so caring and capable, and provide so many amazing experiences for our kids. We have full confidence our kids are in good hands here.”
“I couldn’t speak more highly of this centre. There is absolutely no other centre quite like this one and you are quick to realise this upon spending welcomed time there. The kids here get the opportunity to go on bus rides, make trips to the local super market to purchase foods to complement the food they have grown, learnt and hand picked in their own garden, they go on bike rides, learn about things that are important and current to our world, the list goes on and on. My daughters development is growing at a rapid rate and I honestly wish I could take all the credit for it but I know the large majority stems from P2. The teachers all know how to care, extend, and most importantly understand what works best for her. I believe that her needs would get lost in a bigger centre so it’s nice that numbers are kept low here. P2 is not just an early childhood centre, it’s a family where everyone is accepted and embraced, family’s are connected together, relationships are built and successes are celebrated. When our time here is up, we will walk away with some life long friends and connections. I am so thankful that my daughter gets to experience care like this. Again, I could not recommend this centre any more.”
“Excellent early childhood centre; caring, passionate, intelligent teachers, with great food provided. A real sense of whanau.”
“Nice people looking after your kids.”
“We love it here at our local Playcentre. So many learning opportunities for our Littles and a lovely community feeling amongst the parents. Great outdoor areas, and a nice big space inside, and on the fully covered and enclosed deck area. We are so glad we joined.”
“Great kindy. Lovely space and awesome teachers who have really respectful and clear relationships with the tamariki.”
“I’ve been lucky enough to visit the facilities in NZ and partake in many of Toni and Robin’s workshops. Their competence, love and passion for what they do is unbelievable and contagious. Education needs more places like these in which children are not only cared for and nurtured but also taught to grow into capable, caring and reflective people.”
“Music Box Academy is currently set up at the Wadestown Comunity Centre for classical, Jazz and contemporary music tuition. We offer - Piano, Singing, Guitar, Drums, Bass and many more group / band classes. We love teaching music here and sharing our passions for music with our wonderful wadestown community.”
“They need to put their hempster's on a lead, a few of them had a go at my son”
“Holistic approach to childcare and development. Passionate teachers. Environment Friendly. There may be a waiting list so get in quick.”
“Daughter goes to kindy. Always loves a play after kindy”
“Very good walk. Espessuallly good for a family walk with the kids.”
“Lovely wee park with a big history. This is the site of Broadcasting House, and although plans were already under way to have it demolished the building was destroyed by fire in September 1997 after 235 Radio New Zealand staff had moved to new premises in The Terrace in July 1997. Grand schemes to build a government "palace" on the site, or to shift the Beehive there, eventually fizzled and today the space is a sculpture park.”
“Awesome place to go with your little ones. Playcentre has great indoor and outdoor space where kids can do everything what you can imagine. Also it's amazing to be part of the parent's group - everyone are so nice and supportive. Our favourite part is Friday's bush sessions ❤”
“A really good playground for children with a lot of field space too. There is an accessible tennis court for all. Entrance to this area is down the concrete drive”
“Simply the best pre-school. Thank you to the awesome team!”
