“Awesome range of gear and great pricing. Staff very helpful in helping my mate find a replacement boat bung in a weird sizing.”
“Excellent service, Quick and efficient. Staff very friendly. 10 /10.”
“Up with the best ever. Chips are fantastic and the fish was excellent. Light batter and very fresh fish - we had snapper. Will definitely be back”
“Great customer service and happy helping staff”
“Some years ago, George Harrison morphed from being a traditional menswear corporate wardrobe retailer into an up to the minute stockist of on trend international labels for customers who want to access clothing that is largely non-mainstream The labels include a wide range, but my personal favourites (and my bank account can attest to these) are: Versace Jeans Couture, Just Cavalli, Diesel, Karl Largerfeld, Gaudi, No Excess, and Au Noir across tee shirts, polo shirts, casual shirts, dress shirts, tops, jackets, hoodies, track pants, jeans, casual pants and shorts, footwear, and men's fashion accessories. I have also bought business suits and dress jackets and trousers here. Many of my favourite pieces from my extensive wardrobe have come from George Harrison, and I often receive compliments when wearing clothes from this store. Additionally, on the second floor of the Atrium on Elliott Street, George Harrison has an outlet shop where stock that has not moved is available at discounts ranging up to 70%. I have also bought items from the outlet shop at fantastically reduced prices that I have wanted, but have previously been too expensive even for my extravagant taste.”
“Just stopped in to see if they had any small parts I needed for my Odyssey and after waiting only 5 minutes Ty bought out the exact parts I needed and came out with me to make sure they fit, and to top it off didn’t charge me anything for the parts. Could not be more happy and will be recommending them to everyone.”
“The food was absolutely amazing especially the lasagna, the place has such a warm and homely vibe, feels like coming home. The two Italian aunties who own the place are incredibly kind and friendly, and every dish is served with a warm smile and of course we’ll definitely be coming back again!!”
“A random walk in to a tiny eatery for dinner; ended up with good food in a cozy setting. Love little cozy eateries; not everyone might - the space works best as a bar, but that doesnt do justice to how well the food turned out. Granted this is a first time experience, but the how good the food was forced me to write this review. We had the tikki chat, vegetarian chow mein, lasooni daal and garlic naan. The naan was thin and very well made, the chow mein was very well done too. The lasooni daal was rustic, reminded me of all the road trip dhabas back in India. It was some of the best daal I have had in Auckland in a very long time. Daals are simple dishes, which make it hard to hide mistakes behind a wall of spice and overwhelming flavour (and no it was not a wall of lasson either). Whoever cooked this knows his way around good north indian punjabi cooking. The tikki was very well made. I dont know if its kitchen made or off the shelf, but it crispy on the outside and well cooked inside. Make that a chat and it was a symphony of flavour. I think the daal and the tikki just put the chow mein (which really was good) in shade coz of how good it was. Our experience with the staff was good. A picky eater amongst us has requests on how each dish was to be cooked. They did it very well. The rice that came with the food was an iffy. But I think am placing a high standard on a small eatery and bar in Takapuna. There are 1 year old comments that put the place in shade. My experience did not match those comments. If you are keen on really good simple rustic north indian punjabi food that reminds you of home - this place may be worth it”
“Nice little Thai restaurant, has dinner here the first time and ordered plenty of dishes amount 3 adults and 2 kids. Service was really good and the food was very nice, the Red Thai curry is great with Rice hard to find a park during evening.”
“A little hidden gem. Wasn't sure what to get, so it was recommended that the Tom Yum Soup with seafood was good by the friendly staff. The food came out quick and did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.”
“I love this place!!! It may be on a main road but the atmosphere inside the courtyard walls is beautiful…. a feel of Italy. We were greeted warmly and found a lovely seat in the sun where we thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and delicious food brought to us. I ordered the beef burger without buns and my son had the fish salad… both were spot on! I can’t wait to come back on an evening and enjoy the courtyard, with the festoon lights and a glass of wine with another Del meal!”
“Extremely friendly, helpful staff and well stocked store. We were asking for directions to somewhere for a big breakfast when the friendly gentleman at the counter offered to open up the kitchen and serve us. Didn't take long at all and the food & coffee was delicious, as well as very good hospitality from the team.”
“Ginger crunch is on, perfect ratio of ginger to oats, not too sweet. Good to wash down with coffee and a great view. :)”
“Love their food! Hidden gem in Linden.”
“Great true gentleman barber. Takes time and care in the cut. Plus you won’t get charged upwards of $100 like in these other “modern” barbers that are springing up everywhere. Value for money with traditional charm. If you have time, get a shave. It’s an experience, relaxation and meditation in itself”
“Great service and great prices! They're the only bottle store I know of that carry Yankee Bourbon Co. brand spirits. What's so great about that? All their 1 liter spirits (vodka, rum, gin, whisky, etc) are just $30! And 37% at that; not bad!”
“. (05/2018) This one is among top 3 in my list of Sushi restaurants in Wellington. Conveniently located over busy Lambton Quay and can be easily missed if not carefully looked out for. Easily accessible. Well managed, organised and nicely maintained. Sushi is on display for the customers to pick around from the standing area with detailed info provided for people with specific dietary requirements. Spacious but limited seating. Excellent ambiance and cosy atmosphere. Self-service. Helpful staff. Plentiful food options. Have not noticed these many delicious Sushi options to choose from for vegans and vegetarians at any other Sushi restaurant. Yum preparations. Good presentation. Offers takeaways. Good place for quick bite. Normally busy during peak hours. Reservation cannot be made in advance. PayWave facility is available at this location. Could not notice wheelchair accessible seating or high chair in plain view at this location. Outdoor seating is not available. There is no dedicated parking area available for this restaurant although street parking can be found around the entrance. Entrance is wheelchair accessible. Liked the experience.”
“We tried the veg delight and pepperoni pizza - both were loaded with fresh toppings and melted cheese. Great taste, quick service, and very affordable.”
“It's a really friendly New World it's a bit further than our local one but we worth the trip. Fresh meats, pies, pastries and great selection of fruit and veggies it also has ready made section that has a fantastic fresh bowl with rice, edamame and chicken.”
“Had the best balayage here! Can’t remember the name of my stylist but she really worked her magic and I am so in love !”
Rodney Wayne Hornby is a hair salon in Christchurch. The team focuses on colour work and men’s cuts.
“I've been coming to this place for years, since it opened and love it for a quiet sit down. The cheese scones I genuinely rate as the best in New Zealand. Very unique, light and fluffy on the inside with a nice crust on the outside. Huge too.”
“Favourite sushi and Donburi place!”
“the chap that served knew what I wanted and loaded me up forthwith. good service.”
“Very clean (spotless!), new and well appointed rooms in a quiet location. Friendly service. Bed is comfortable, nice large TV with full Sky. All at a great price. Highly recommended.”
“The staff is friendly and respectful. The food prices are really reasonable with respect to the quantity they provide. The taste of food is very good. Thank you, himalaya indian Cuisine. Definitely recommended”
“My wife and two of my daughters and I had lunch here. It is a lovely restaurant, nice, friendly staff and the food is of a high quality, extremely well presented, and delicious. Wife + Daughters loved the place and declared it a new favourite. I also enjoyed the food as well but not as immensely as they. The reason is because while the food is very high quality and delicious, I personally found it a little (just a tiny bit) watered down to cater for western tastes. I am not saying it is not authentic, just not quite as layered in its flavouring as you find in some other Chinese restaurants. If you look at the photos you will see that the food is high quality, but you can also probably also tell it is lightly flavoured. The only chilli sauce offered is a sweet chilli sauce that looks just like what you get from a bottle at home. I asked for some chilli oil and got some, but it was fairly bland. Edit: I have since done my research on Shanghai style cooking which apparently has an emphasis on sweetness, lightness, and freshness. So my comments on 'watered down' may be awry, it may simply be that I prefer a more robust regional style of Chinese cooking and this restaurant is offering a genuinely Shanghai style. This style may be influenced by the 100+ years Shanghai was a western entrepot to China.”
