“Heaps of sushi selection and it is amazing verry fresh and the food in the hot cabby is amazing too”
“This was delicious! I love how you can just choose one piece at a time so you're not stuck with an entire roll of one flavour. Every piece I chose tasted so fresh and well seasoned.”
“This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever eaten from. Time and time again they never fail to serve. Great service and delivery . It may be pricey BUT it always has excellent quality of food so it's worth the money! Ubereats delivery is excellent also!”
“Really good katsu chicken, super fresh and super yum!”
“Always love mum's sushi. The selection is great and every single thing is delicious. Only mark down the atmosphere because honestly it doesn't do the food justice. Food that good deserves a fancier environment.”
“Shop: open, spacious, clean Staff: friendly and patient to explain the different options and self-service system Sushi: There are plenty of options from fresh salmon and tuna to inari pockets and fried chicken nigiri Personally, I don't eat raw fish, so this place is great with their different cooked fish/fried chicken/fried shrimp options. There's also a fried food snack cabinet if you're craving a little something extra minus the carbs. The tamagoyaki sushi was absolutely en pointe, and the tuna inari pocket was a burst of flavours - sweet, salty umami all at once! Price: it depends on what sushi you get. They have a pricelist available. (Photo -$6; huge tasty sushi!) Wheelchair accessible and available on 4 delivery apps! They also have a platter option if you're planning for a party. I highly recommend it and would definitely be back for more!”
“My go-to place for lunch specially when I am busy at work and in need of a quick bite, but not willing to compromise on the taste. Their food is affordable, yet still tastes good. Do you want a grab and go? Choose from their selection of pre-packed meals (I strongly recommend the salmon on rice), or if you have time to wait a teeny bit of time, you can go for a selection of hot cooked to order food from the menu. Plus their staff are friendly too!”
“We love coming here, the lady is so nice! We have a big family and there sometimes isn't enough sushi so they are more than happy to make us what ever we want to order and they do it pretty quickly! Absolute favorite sushi place as they have the best service and FLAVORS!”
“Friendly service with a great variety if sushi. Mix of authentic sushi and kiwi sushi.”
“I've been to a lot of the sushi places around Wellington, and IMO Domo Sushi is one of the best. The staff are always very friendly and talkative, the sushi tastes really nice and is well presented, and they have some good flavours which you would t find at the other sushi stores. This place also feels quite a bit more authentic than the other sushi stores around.”
“I always buy too much sushi when I go here that is absolutely amazing and so delicious”
“Awesome little sushi place, good food and value”
“Lovely fresh sushi. Best in town.”
“Having recently been diagnosed with coeliac, and love sushi, the ladies have been so amazing explaining what is gluten free in their range of food, its always fresh and on some occasions when I have had a late lunch and they have run out of something I like they have offered to make it for me. So appreciative Mary”
“OMG that Sapasui and Creamy Surumi was so tasty. Will be back for sure!!”
“Tried K-Ramen today and it was very delicious and also affordable. Exceptionally friendly staff make the food yummier. Highly recommended!!”
“This is my go to place for lunches during the week. They use fresh and high quality ingredients. Very nice people. I always buy chicken katsu inari and mushroom inari. You can also get a loyalty card with them and collect stamps. Thanks Toshi Sushi team.”
“First time had lunch with my wife today. Many interesting dishes on the lunch menu. My wife ordered the Fuji special dumpling set menu $22. It cames with small plates of pickle, bokchoi, fruit, vinegar and chili sauce. The dumplings were reasonable size full of meat and tasty. I ordered the HK style soya chicken leg$15.99 also cames with little plates of pickles, bokchoi, fruit and a small bowl of seaweed soup and rice. I have to asked the friendly waitress to have the chicken leg chopped up as it cames out whole. We enjoyed our meals and the friendly services of the waitress. Will come back to try their dinner as there are lots interesting dishes on the dinner menu.”
“Excellent sushi! If I could afford it I would sit here all day devouring 1000s of pieces until I was dragged away. This is sushi of the highest order.”
“Friendly staff or owner. Sushi roll. Chicken rice and chicken donburi were absolutely tasty.”
“i was passing through this quiet little town and bought lunch to this take away place and i was suprised by the quality and taste of the sushi.. highly recommend trying out this sushi place.. amazing food!!!”
“Oh my goodness! This hidden gem of a Japanese eatery is an ideal spot for a lunchtime visit. They craft various delightful Dons that are not only visually stunning but also bursting with delicious flavors. Each dish is freshly prepared and elegantly presented in distinctive bowls, providing a rich cultural and culinary experience.”
“Just ordered first order via Menulog this afternoon highly impressed. The rice was the best I have ever had sticky & yummy & oh so good. Also nice little salad & katsu was so good. I will definitely order again. Highly recommend.”
“I organised an end of year dinner for our class at Mr Tanakas tonight (13 of us). The entire process for organising the dinner was seamless and the team were so accommodating even when things changed a few times. The vibe of the restaurant was really cool, the service was awesome, the food was scrumptious and we were all full from our the $65 p/p set menu + a couple of other yummy dishes. The cocktails and wines were great and we had the pleasure of dining in the Lantern room which was such a fun vibe and included karaoke. Unfortunately we didn’t capture photos of the food. Anyhow - I’d like to thank the staff for their wonderful service tonight!! ❤️”
“They have the best vegetarian sushi with many different tasty options. You can choose from the wide variety in the cabinet (which they are happy to make fresh if run out) or buy from an even wider variety of delicious hot food made to order; bento boxes, donburi, tempura etc. Can sit in or takeaway. They always have miso soup to order too. Best service, very welcoming and lovely. Highly recommend! My favourite sushi shop.”
“The food here comes fast and piping hot fresh. The service is always friendly. I've had several of their dishes and the tempura that comes with the bento is also cooked to perfection. The teriyaki chicken feels home cooked with the correct ratio. We are regulars here at lunch because the prices are just right.”
“Delicious and authentic rice noodle rolls.”
“Recently visited Ebisu with a group of friends to experience their Oki No Saturday Buffet. The selection was truly generous- fresh sashimi, sushi rolls, shrimp, udon and miso soup as well as hot dishes like salmon, braised beef brisket. And many delicious desserts. I have to say the sashimi was beautifully arranged and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. Our group wholeheartedly enjoyed the Oki No Saturday Buffet. I will recommend it without hesitation to anyone if you are looking for a relaxed Japanese buffet in Auckland.”
“We had amazing dinner here we did the à la carte menu. The sashimi was fantastic possibly one of the best in Auckland. If not New Zealand. The steak was amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful and all around great restaurant. I haven’t been for awhile. It’s nice to see they haven’t dropped their standards.”
