“We arrived unknowingly before opening time. The owner saw us and opened up for us and gave a great run down on the great variety of sushi they sell. The two in our group who are sushi fans were really impressed and loved the sushi. Definitely great sushi at a very reasonable price. You've got to try it.”
“We lunched at St Pierre for a quick shopping lunch of brown rice tuna avocado sushi and Katsu chicken on rice and Te food was delicious not to mention, we received fantastic customer service AND managed to get a table!”
St Pierre's Sushi + Bento Bowl delivers a simple, bistro‑style line‑up that’s straight to the point. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Meals reach the pass promptly. Portions are generous yet well judged.

“Huge shoutout to Alex at Katsubi Westfield St Lukes! His customer service was exceptional. He greeted us with a smile, served us with real enthusiasm, and made sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to see someone so dedicated and genuine. Thank you, Alex you made our day!”
“Easy and quick to buy. I don’t know how the attention is in the place because I bought to go but the flavour was good”
“Sorry no photos. Pork dumplings are the best I have tasted in NZ so far, so full of flavour, as for the crumbed chicken it is so tasty. This shop suits my buds for maybe once a fortnight as it is fried food but certainly looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.”

“OMG that Sapasui and Creamy Surumi was so tasty. Will be back for sure!!”
“First time had lunch with my wife today. Many interesting dishes on the lunch menu. My wife ordered the Fuji special dumpling set menu $22. It cames with small plates of pickle, bokchoi, fruit, vinegar and chili sauce. The dumplings were reasonable size full of meat and tasty. I ordered the HK style soya chicken leg$15.99 also cames with little plates of pickles, bokchoi, fruit and a small bowl of seaweed soup and rice. I have to asked the friendly waitress to have the chicken leg chopped up as it cames out whole. We enjoyed our meals and the friendly services of the waitress. Will come back to try their dinner as there are lots interesting dishes on the dinner menu.”

“I ordered the teriyaki chicken donburi, and it was very delicious! The flavours were very fresh and tasty, it reminded me of some very good home cooking I’ve had before. The price was $15 dollars, and very filling! Definitely recommend trying this lovely shop.”
“I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Bowl and it was very delicious! I’m not sure I took a break between mouthfuls - every element was fresh and flavoursome!”
“It can be busy, but if you catch it during a lull it’s a decent pitstop for a snack, been a few times and the dining area’s always clean which is the first thing we always check for when eating out. Had a slight issue with one piece of our sushi, Jennifer was very apologetic and quick to offer a replacement - so nice to see businesses (people) still making an effort to rectify issues quickly & with care, thank you Jennifer!”
“St Pierre's is my fav sushi joint in nz. They're everywhere and you always know the standard of food you're getting is good. Unfortunately prices have gone up significantly over the years, but everything has. Gets very busy around lunch time”
“Very delicious sushi especially the rainbow sushi and miso soup also tasty. Service very nicely and patient. 5 star”
“I really appreciate the service today. I had special dietary requirements and the worker went above and beyond with confirming and explaining how they would be able to accommodate my dietary requirements. Very grateful.”
“Don't know why there aren't more reviews about this place. I feel like it gets overlooked because Sushi Bi is nearby at the train station. However, this place is a little gem. I remember coming here a good 10 years ago when the price of one piece of sushi was 70 cents. This place is still greatly affordable and still holds up its name to having great chicken. Their chicken katsu donburi is perfection. You get the katsu sauce and kewpie mayo drizzled over a deep fried chicken cutlet that is still so juicy and crunchy even though it was probably fried an hour or few ago. They include both lettuce and cabbage underneath this beautiful chicken and a generous amount of rice. I was afraid getting the regular size was going to be too small for my appetite so I got some sushi on the side. The sushi is cheap, at their basic pieces being $1 per piece. It's nothing to write home about but it's fresh and simple which I do prefer sometimes. The range is small but it's solid. Their salmon is very, very good. I think I'll order the large donburi next time. If you don't eat chicken, they also do a fish katsu! I'll be coming back again for that chicken katsu donburi. It calls my name....”
