“I had my drum kit tuned because the kit did not feel right and the toms were rattling after I hit them. After the tuning the difference in the kit was huge. The snare sounds and feels much better, the toms sound great and don't buzz any more. They also looked at the drum pedal and adjusted it so I now feel more comfortable doing faster bass drum sequences.”

For example she picked up on hyperextension in my 5 year old and taught her exercises to help protect her knee. It was also a fantastic and supportive place to dance as a uni student. I wish we still lived in Dunedin as the studio we have attended since does not match with regards technique, affordability, and supportive community feel. A absolute gem of a studio.”

“The school teaches salsa, zouk, samba, bachata, kizomba, rueda and forro. The teachers, Emily, Augusto, and Ariel, are all quite lovely and so is the enthusiastic community that they've built up around the club. The classes are usually taught in blocks of 4-5 weeks and reasonably priced. The emphasis is on getting a solid grounding in the basics and then encouraging improvisation on these basic steps. This leads to less formulaic dancing and more interesting, individual styles within the community. Highly recommended!”
