Our daughter loves going and settled in from another preschool very well. We are always kept up to date with her learning and development in the classroom. We highly recommend Discovery Junction!”

“We moved to this kindy to be closer to school - and have been blown away by the amazing teachers and how they nurture, teach and encourage all of the children. There is something really special about this kindy. There are plenty of trees for natural shade, and there is so much to explore outside. It is currently being renovated so the indoor space is going to be new and improved when it reopens next year!”

“By far the the friendliest staff we have encountered at any kindi. Our young daughter really loved coming to this place. The staff takes really good care of the kids. We had to switch to Halswell Kidsfirst because its way closer to us. But we and our daughter really enjoyed her time at this kindi while she was there.”

“Highly recommend Little Explorers Preschool. Our child loves it there. Fantastic facility, amazing outdoor space for the children to play which is what attracted us here originally. Great staff and a very community oriented small center.”

“We had our 3 children attend this kindy, it was and still is their favourite place. The staff are absolutely wonderful and they are the highlight of this kindergarten. Their care and attention to every family is so special. The teachers have incredible knowledge and experience and they form such a lovely bond with the kids. The oldschool feel of the kindy is nostalgic to our childhood with activities and toys we loved as kids too. They always have new and exciting stations setup for the kids to explore. The outside space is ideal, a large sandpit, mud kitchen and woodwork table were amongst our children’s favs. The new playground is coming along so well and we look forward to seeing the progress. Highly recommend this kindergarten!”

“Could not recommend enough. The most beautiful, nurturing, engaging, and fun kindy. The teachers, Jo, Kelly, and Miranda are fantastic. They are warm, loving, fun, and so knowledgeable. They are dedicated to really knowing each child, and supporting their individual needs and interests. The activities and resources are ever changing and varied. The outdoor space is magical. My three children have all attended, and it really is like a family. I have a child who is neurodivergent, and their support in this has made such a difference to my daughter (and me!). Their engagement with the Ministry of Ed for diagnosis and support, and their hard work going the extra mile and been so appreciated. There will be tears when we leave!”

“I love this place. They're always so kind and friendly when i drop my son off in the mornings and let me know how his day has gone when I pick him up. This place is more than capable of handling his boisterous personality and i know when i leave him there he is well taken care of and safe!!!!”

“Great to have something besides kids playgrounds. Off course these are also very important to the community.. But this fitness are, located on 2 corners of the park.. Provides very good opportunities for a decent upper body workout using your own weight. Also you could do jogs/runs from one corner to the other corner to have a cardio component as well. Ready to pump?”
