Gyalten has given us an opportunity to work as volunteers through Helpx that we will always cherish as one of the many wonderful experiences we had in New Zealand. The Buddhist Centre is a very peaceful place. We participated in the Buddhist classes and enjoyed the experience. We are truly grateful for the people (the residents) we met there. “It's an amazing school, and I think it may be one of the best high schools on the north island. Firstly, its NCEA pass rate is high as a PRIVATE SCHOOL. Secondly, it's in an amazing location. You feel like u are in the countryside from all the breathtaking views. Lastly, all the teachers at the school teach from heart, and it really shows how much they care for the students. In conclusion, it is an astonishing, high achieving school that I think is highly underrated.”
