“A small cozy sushi store in front of the Auckland Library. Sushi and rolls are freshly made. Seating is quite limited but most people go there for takeaways. I especially like the salmon cream cheese roll. They also have discounts for those bringing their own container.”

If you have a few minutes you should eat in the seating are which is located upstairs in a business lounge with a glass front facing the harbour. The prices start at 1,50$ for the basic ones and they also have other options than sushi (e.g. Edamame, seaweed salad etc.) Totally recommendable!”

It may only have four tables, but the food is what truly steals the show. We ordered lamb flaps, chicken, chips, and taro, and every bite was amazing! The lamb flaps were perfectly tender and flavourful, the chicken was juicy, and the taro added a unique touch that made the meal feel extra special. Despite its small size, it’s worth every minute of the 1-hour drive I made to get there! The best part? Our total bill, including a 600ml Coke, came to just $33, and both of us left feeling full and satisfied. This is the kind of hidden gem that you'll want to visit again and again. “I only order salmon and avocado sushi. Came here for the first time 2 days ago and the workers were very friendly and accommodated my request for a newly made pack of sushi without the wasabi and ginger in it (allergies). They did not hesitate to make a new pack and they smiled and were attentive to me and other customers the whole time. The sushi itself contained a lot of salmon compared to St Pierre's. I will definitely be back.”

“Their Chung fin is very tasty although their trading hours are quite questionable. They don’t open later for dinner. When you come here to buy food past 5pm you will have to pray they still have the food you want”

Very impressed with the quality and quantity of the produce and would definitely recommend anyone who is wanting to avoid going to the supermarket to try Fruit Guys! We also get Fruit Guys boxes at work and they have always been a friendly bunch who always say good morning on their way in and out. Great company!”
