“Lovely and caring staff. Went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.”
“LOVE Country Bears! Love the staff, love the ethos, love the vibe, the activities, location and set up, rave about it to all who will listen. Thanks to Jeds teachers to, you're the best!”
“Both my children have attended Acorn and thrived. A lovely, relatively small centre where children receive a lot of one on one attention and the staff cater towards individual children needs. Amazing staff who genuinely care for the children and build a strong connection and sense of community with them. My boys started school confidant, independent, curious and more than ready academically after attending Acorn. Highly recommend. ”
“I couldn’t speak more highly of A Child’s Place. We enrolled our one-year-old son after a tough experience at a previous centre, so I was naturally cautious. But Megan and the incredible infant room team went above and beyond to ensure he felt safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. One thing that really stood out to us was the primary caregiving model — having a consistent teacher who took the lead in building a strong bond with our son made a huge difference, especially as he wasn’t very familiar or comfortable with others in the beginning. He now looks forward to daycare each day — his face lights up at the mention of his teachers’ names, he runs off happily at drop-off, and I’m always greeted with the biggest smile at pick-up. The teachers are constantly engaged with the kids — whether they’re on the floor reading, outside exploring, or sitting alongside them at mealtimes, you can tell the care is genuine. The centre itself is always spotless and well-organised, and the team are incredibly responsive to any needs or changes we’ve raised. We were especially grateful for the support and advice they offered when we were navigating some sleep struggles. The care and attention to detail in sharing updates, milestones (big and small), and daily happenings make it feel like so much more than just childcare — it’s a true community and family. I’ll be forever grateful to Megan, Ross, and the team for creating such a warm, nurturing environment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend A Child’s Place to anyone”
“Great space to learn and connect! Amazing asset to the community!”

“As a social worker, I have had the privilege of working alongside Brooke MacClure at Our Kids Early Learning Centre. I want to acknowledge the incredible kindness, care, and dedication they show not only to the tamariki but also to the whānau I work with. They have gone above and beyond to ensure whānau are supported with their essential needs, generously providing items for those experiencing financial hardship. The level of aroha and commitment they bring to their role is truly inspiring, and it makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our community. I am very grateful for the mahi they have done for me and continue to do.”
“Amazing teachers in a lovely environment.”
“My baby went there for 2 years and my daughter worked there. Lovely team and highly recommended.”
“Such an amazing daycare . The teachers and manager are amazing and all love and treat the children like they are their own . Highly recommend.”
“A cool little childcare centre. Because it’s smaller it feels more like family. The teachers are great and work really well as a team to give great care and communication about what’s happening. We really like the fact that the outdoor spaces are big and have real grass growing rather than artificial.”
“MyFirst Preschool is such a hidden gem. I love the smaller, more personal environment — with fewer children, the teachers can truly connect. When my daughter was still settling in, I often saw the teachers having warm one-on-one chats with her, giving her cuddles and making her feel safe. She’s blossomed here, and the teachers put so much thought into planning engaging activities every day. Recently, they’ve even added music sessions, where she has learnt to keep rhythm — such an unexpected delight. Highly recommended.”
“Peacocks Epsom is one of the best asset for families and children. My 15m old loves going every day and has a smile for her teachers as soon as she gets there. I love the variety of activities they have for the kids everyday and the care they give them. The staff are very kind, patient, attentive and caring. Definitely recommend this centre!”
“Lovely clean children safe centre very friendly helpful staff”
“Barnardos Manurewa is an incredible daycare. The teachers are loving, welcoming and always having the children's educational needs front of mind. They have a very clean facility and maintain a high standard of safety for the children too. Best daycare in South Auckland for sure!”
“Highly recommend! Beautiful caring teachers, who go the extra mile to ensure your aspirations for your babies are being fulfilled, providing you with updates on how they are tracking. Both my boys have loved the meals they make for the kids and thry are always happy by the end of the day on pick up. Love tots!”
“We can never thank Julie, the Principal of Epsom South enough for accommodating our nephew, who was almost classified as a special needs child. They transformed him into one gifted child in 3 months. No words to praise the skills, dedication, cultural competency of the teachers. Large outdoor play area, gardening for kids, creativity area, library, chickens and bird duty, the list will be endless.”
“A well run well resourced small centre. The teachers are caring and attentive, the whole family feels welcome when we do drop offs and pick ups. A lot of opportunities for messy and creative play. Regular updates and photos. Children spend a lot of time outdoors. Unfortunately, winter bugs are very common among under twos but that’s the case in all centres, especially post-covid.”
“I have nothing but positive comments about Onehunga Kindergarten. It is such a wonderful, nurturing environment for children to explore and grow. My daughters loved the large play space, the gardening which they could be heavily involved with, the woodwork was a real highlight and something they still talk of often. The staff are incredibly caring and really tune into each child's individual needs. Our youngest daughter created a bug hotel from idea and draft design to end product which really spiked her interest in creating things from scratch. What a special place Onehunga Kindergarten is, in a wonderful community.”
“My two children love Playcentre and they always have fun and it is so hard to get them to leave when the session has finished.”
“Visited with a friend. Lovely to see everyone happy having fun.lovely staff”
“Great centre with experienced teachers. Children are provided an inclusive environment for their holistic development. Highly recommend.”
“Both of our boys attended Stepping Stones and they were always keen to go. I was always confident that they were safe and happy there. What I found most impressive about the teaching team is that they are continuously improving. They frequently seek feedback and try new ways of approaching communication with parents, and engaging the children. Their backyard area is a great example of frequent innovation to cater to the children's different interests and their short attention spans! I really enjoyed an evening event that a few of the teachers held for parents of the older children. The teachers introduced themselves and talked to us about their approach to planning and executing lessons with the children. And they let us try out some of the exercises - it was good fun and a great way to understand how the learning objectives connect with play. There are also great additional activities available to the children such as Playball, Yoga and Dance - which both of my children have really enjoyed. I thoroughly recommend Stepping Stones.”
“Great facility for the scouting movement. The grandkids loved camping there with pt chev air scouts”
