A beautiful, peaceful spot. The barn is cozy and homely with everything you need. Alan is a gracious host.
We were expecting a fairly basic cottage, but the photos don't do it justice. Once inside, it's HUGE: a very large living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a very large bedroom upstairs. And to top it all off, a wood-burning stove with some logs made the place just perfect. It was splendid. On top of that, our host, Alan, is a wonderful person who gave us a fantastic welcome. Thank you, Alan, it was marvelous! The breakfast is very good but could be improved to make the stay perfect. Thanks again, Alan!
Exceptional place! Million dollar views both day and night. Relaxing and enchanting sounds of Tui and Morepork. The host Alan is most wonderful, he and his pets George and Bella will welcome you and make your stay more memorable.
stayed at The Barn for 3 nights recently, amazing views, fabulous bird life we did not expect, tranquil, lots of places to explore and lovely hosts . Thank you Robert and Alan ! Loved the pets!
The host is very hospitable, and the room facilities are very complete, but the path to get in is a gravel road, so drive carefully, it takes 5-7 minutes to get in. The view from above is very beautiful.
