Wonderful service from Rose today who helped me with customs form to send a parcel to Australia.
The black haired lady never takes my packages due to the postage labels so I always have to go to another post shop. Unacceptable.
Went in today to get my car rego done something I honestly can’t stand doing in person because it’s usually such a pain. I handed over the form to one of the staff, an older guy with longer hair and glasses to small for his face, and he told me the name didn’t match what was on his screen. Fair enough, that’s on me. I said it might be under either my mum’s maiden name or married name and gave her full name. Instead of helping or even checking, he just told me I’d have to figure it out myself and sent me away. No effort, no help just rude. So I went back up and was served by a different staff member, a lady this time, and told her I wasn’t sure if it was under my mum’s maiden name or married name. She smiled, checked it straight away, and helped me out with everything else too. Just shows how much of a difference it makes when someone’s actually willing to help. That first guy didn’t need to be so miserable about it people make mistakes, and it’s literally your job to help
So so so rude will never go back here. anytime I’ve been here the man worker is nasty and rude the lady workers aren’t much better. Would never recommend this place, they should not have nz post services here.
Terrible costumer service, lady with dark hair needs to learn to talk people and the tone she uses. Talks over people and very aggressive, it was quite funny to watch but really not cool.
Very helpful in assisting with a purchase. Far better than Taradale when asked there first. Hastings Paper Plus from now on.
Went to paper plus three times this week to retrieve my undelivered courier parcel just for them to say its not here yet, (even tho it says I can collect from the next business day). the worst customer service both times, the male that assisted me both times didn't even bother looking for the courier and said its not here.

Went into this shop twice this week to retrieve my undelivered courier parcel. Shocking customer service both times. The male shop assistant tried to take my passport into the back room to identify my parcel which I declined resulting in him attempting to lecture me on why he needed to do this. I left without the parcel. I returned the following day and was verbally abused by the same shop assistant because I refused to be served by him. He followed me through the store abusing me like I had stolen something. I was then served by another shop assistant who retrieved the manager because she thought I was rude to her, but the abuse was coming from her work colleague. It's unfortunate that this is the main pickup point for undelivered parcels in Hastings. They really don't like brown people in this store. My recommendation would be for them to put a 'whites only' sign out the front of the store, and NZ post to redirect all parcels to another store that's not outwardly racist!
