Super impressed by Crown. We rang them on Monday morning, they were here on Wednesday. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even as our plans changed a couple of times in the intervening day! Brandon, Jac and Josh were punctual and super-efficient. As my brother put it, "Why would you use anyone else?"
My move using Crown Relocation Dunedin resulted in significant damage to my table. The damage was noticed by the two removal men who unloaded the truck (two different men loaded the truck). They informed me of the damage and showed it to me. They also informed the Move Manager and sent him photos. The Move Manager phoned me and apologised profusely for the damage. A bed base and mattress had been placed on top of the table. The Move Manager also spoke with his Manager who visited me, admitted fault and apologised repeatedly. I was told it would be discussed with management and I would hear from them in a couple of days. I phoned the Move Manager six days after shifting because I still hadn’t heard from them. I was informed that even although they admitted fault they wouldn’t cover any damage. You have to question how genuine an apology is when there is no recompense. For this reason I do not recommend using Crown Relocation Dunedin. My comment after Crown Relocation Dunedin replied.... While I appreciate the stance Crown Relocation have taken I would have thought that a reputable company would have maintained a certain amount of in-house cover particularly when a customer pays significant dollars to relocate. I would suggest in future Crown Relocation Dunedin inform any potential clients that while some care might be taken, no responsibility will be accepted and that Crown Relocation Dunedin strongly suggests any potential customer obtain insurance prior to moving.
Michael and Caleb, came to load up our household in Wanaka, they were on time, very professional, friendly, did not waste a minute, did an unbelievable job loading our household. Thank you Michael and Caleb, it was a pleasure meeting you both, we wish you two the best life has to offer, we will highly recommend your company.
We moved Akl - Queenstown - Crown were excellent. Everything arrived - no damage and on time. Thanks Paul and Tyson who unloaded in Queenstown.
Crown moved my household effects from Dunedin to the Kapiti Coast. The 5 man team were very efficient and pleasant to dealt with and packed everything carefully so that no damage ensued. The only blunder was in packing my daughter's overnight bag which contained her medication and was not then available for 6 days!
We would like to congratulate to the two men who delivered our house furniture into Dunedin. They were a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job in placing items where we wished them to go. Careful and considerate. Crown has been great to deal with during our entire process so wish them and their staff all the best for the future
Highly recommended! This was our second major move with Crown, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a relocation from the US to NZ - I wouldn't use anyone else. The customer service and communication was clear & timely from my first enquiry until the arrival date (a span of many months). Their experts handled all issues including packing, customs and insurance. Lastly, the Dunedin-based delivery team of Paul, Leyton and Tyson were friendly, efficient, on-time, and all-around good guys (the dog didn't even bark at them).
